There wasn’t anything wrong with the Essential but this Ultra2 is far improved and capable. Since it costs about 2x more than an Essential guess it’s worth it.

Come to find out Best Buy didn't even have the camera to ship. I was even willing to drive 1.5 hours to pick it up. BB won't even begin to process my $250. refund until 10 days from now!!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought them initially based on the higher resolution over the Pro 4 cameras however the Geek squad could not connect them in my large home via the dedicated Ultra 2 hub because of inadequate signal range, The Pro 4's readily connected to my extensive Google Wifi mesh system that the Ultra 2 could not. I am happy anyway. Let me know when you come out with super HD cams that can connect to an in house mesh Wifi system

I’ve notice 3 times now where the camera light is activated from motion but I don’t get an alert from the app or any video for that time.
