    I'm torn here Pros -Cameras look and work great -I have the solar panels and they seem to do the job although when it's cold, it says not charging so let's see how we do when it gets significantly colder. -Ease of setup Meh -Although the controls are easy to navigate, I wish it would allow better control of the alerts and notifications. Cons -IT EATS UP DATA!!! I've never exceeded data usage on my internet and now I've spent an additional 100 for the month. I need to play around with it but it seems like the only way to save is to put it on a schedule to arm/disarm. But kinda defeats the purpose of a camera. So in it's current state, the system with everything cost me around 800 since I bought this, one doorbell and solar and with the increase in Data usage, the amount I would have saved on hardwire, would have been significantly better... Just buy a Ring, Arlo, Nest doorbell and forget the cameras. IT WILL KILL YOUR DATA

    Great system. Easy to install. Recording is nice and the service is about $10 month so not bad for piece of mind.

    These cameras are not friendly when it comes to changing the batteries,they have a miniature Allen tool to remove batteries which could easily be lost

    Arlo is the best camera system I have ever used and I have bought 4 sets for different homes and never a problem with them. They are the easiest to use that I have found.

    I had a bit of a time getting the base station to recognize all the cameras but once it did, everything went very well. I set up the cameras the day before I left on a month-long vacation. I used the zone definitions to keep out the false alarms from street traffic. While I was gone, I gone a notification on my phone every time someone or something entered the yard. It was fantastic. I had a problem with one camera's battery going dead immediately. I replaced it and it's been fine ever since. The cameras are on their fourth week of surveillance and showing two-thirds power left so I may be able to get a few months out of one charge.

    this is second set up that i have purchased had to buy 2 complete units they were less than buying 1 complete and getting 3 extra cameras they work really well

    The camera quality is great. With the subscription, you get lots of features, my favorite being the ability to set activity zones for notifications. HOWEVER.. a HUGE oversight in security is that there is NO NOTIFICATION WHEN THE BASE OR CAMERAS ARE DISABLED OR OFFLINE. My home was broken into. The camera I needed was offline for two days and I was not aware so I have no footage. Unlike other systems, if the base is disabled, it has to be restarted/reconnected before it starts working again. Due to this major flaw, I am moving on to the Ring, which notifies me of when internet connection is lost or reconnected and has the capability to use cellular data as backup. The camera quality and range isn’t as great as the arlo, but at least I will know if a camera isn’t working. What’s the point of a great camera if it’s not on when I need it to be on??

    cannot beat the quality of 4k, the only thing I do not like is battery life but the video is awesome. once in a while the activity zone gets messed up but no biggie

    I purchased since they were 4k cameras. The clarity is great however the cameras had connection issues and the battery dies quickly. I finally had these connected to solar charges. The main concern was battery life and it proved to be bad! Also the camera night vision is not the best and the small camera light is not bright enough. The true color night vision was not true color.

    Save your money

    Save your money and buy another camera system. I bought my system and stopped working after less than 2 years. I tried getting support from Arlo, nothing was resolved. You will never be able to talk to an actual person just robots.

    Everything was easy to setup and the clarity on the cameras is excellent. The only negative had nothing to do with the equipment but drilling into the brick to install the camera attachment. We added the doorbell camera to this system as well.

    Purchased to upgrade my Arlo Pro cameras. Easy to setup. Like the 4k video recordings. The integrated spotlights are not the noticeable to those being recorded or a distraction to drivers.

    Very simple to install and works great! Very clear picture with great zoom. The more light the better but still shows a nice image in black and white at night.
