    Very Average Motion Detection FloodLight

Very decent flood light motion detector. Has all the "bells and whistle" if you purchase the arlo plan. If you don't, the cameras can "go rogue" with hyper sensitive motion dection and high drainage of battery even when you adjust settings. Very decent security system, features could be better

The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera offers clear video quality, even at night, thanks to its powerful floodlight. It’s easy to install and has great motion detection, which sends alerts to your phone. However, it requires a subscription for some features, which can be a downside.

I highly recommend the flood light. It catches everything in sight, with the highest quality with a built in bright light at night. Arlo system is very advanced and has a lot of great features including adjusting the view of where you would like camera to detect movement and being able to catch any voice even if there is no movement in sight.

Camera quality is excellent light is very bright. Super easy to install. Very impressed with battery life. The app functions well but took some time to familiarize myself with it. Wi-fi connection is strong but I have had some issues with connecting to camera at times. Triggers notifications in a timely fashion, though I have noticed that it doesn't sense motion in the entire activity zone which is a bit concerning. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I do plan to purchase the Arlo Ultra & Arlo Pro 3 25 ft. Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable but the $50 price tag seems a bit high.

Small compact wireless camera with a bright floodlight that is super easy to setup. It is nice to have security cameras that don’t require a professional installer to put in. As long as you have a good WiFi signal this little cam does a good job. Setup can be done with direct WiFi or adding it to a Arlo Hub. Both work well and the camera will integrate with the other various Arlo camera’s not requiring that you upgrade the whole system to the pro 3. Use of the Android phone app is simple and straight forward. There is also an apple app for those with the Apple phone. The included mount is a plastic and while adequate I prefer the metal mounts their other cameras use.. The color night vision with the spotlight is quite nice and the 2k gives pretty good video or still shots. It also has a built in siren that you can choose to be a manual or auto trigger. It has a speaker and a mic that you can use as well. The Spotlight is exceptionally bright and I only need to use it at 50%. I have set it to constant output for a duration of 5 minutes when triggered. You can also set it to pulsing. Current options in subscription mode are for smart alerts that can be set for People, Vehicles, Animals, or general motion and there are smoke /co alarm audio or general audio triggers. There is also a smart package Detection feature. The smart triggers are pretty good at discrimination for the various categories. One has a great variety of options to allow the user to set up things including activity zones, and different audio settings, including audio triggers, live streaming [ I would suggest you have it hooked up to outdoor rated power or a solar panel ( both optional)] I am still working on the trying to get the activity zone to only trigger things inside of the zone – it could require an update or I may still need to tweak the zone more. One does have more points of tweaking the zone box with the Hub rather than just WiFi hookup. 6 month battery life is claimed by Arlo – it is dependent on how high the traffic is and how much the led spot light is used. I have mine directly over my front door and have been using it for two months in a moderate traffic area, along with tweaking how it is used and I am down to 76% battery life. The charge cable is a magnetic mount which makes things easy. One can also buy a spare battery (optional) This is a pretty good wireless battery-operated security cam with a bright spotlight -Especially for the money. Is it perfect – No but I am sure there will be various updates to tweak the system as more people give Arlo feedback. The subscription cost is reasonable, and I would suggest looking into purchasing this option.

This is an easy one, because I'm already have alro cameras. But I needed something for my new house, and I wanted an all in one. This did the trick. See pics. Light comes on with motion, and is very bright. Night visions is solid. You can adjust the brightness levels too, it's awesome. Just by it, you'll love it too.

Holy Moly is this thing BRIGHT... which is exactly what we needed. We first had an Arlo Ultra camera in the same spot, but it did not provide enough light for our backyard. We have a fairly wide yard, but a fairly high, steep slope. The light on this camera lights up the whole yard. The images from this camera are just as good as the images from the Ultra. I don't really notice the difference in the 2k vs the 4k for our purposes. The recorded audio from the camera is great as well. However, the two-way communication through the camera is not so great. The person in front of the camera has to listen very intently on what's being spoken. So, I guess the speakers on the camera are not that great. I'm still trying to play around with the motion settings. Our first windy night was causing the light to turn on every minute. I had to turn the light off. I didn't want to upset our neighbors. The camera, obviously, still recorded way too many videos because of a few trees in our yard. I'm still trying to research on what to do about this. I really wanted this light for security purposes, in case someone comes into our yard... which has happened already. Overall, this is a great camera and awesome light source. I just need to figure out how to handle windy nights.

I am giving it an unenthusiastic 4 stars because it does several things fairly well but some others not so much. Good: very bright light that can be dimmed if too bright. Very responsive to motion and sensitivity can be adjusted. The not-so-good: The light won’t stay on longer than 10 seconds after it doesn’t detect motion. So, for example, if you are taking your trash cans out at night and the street is not in your camera’s motion detection zone, you will be in the dark before getting back to garage. You set the light to stay on for up to 20 minutes but you have to do it manually on phone app, and it won’t record when light is on manually.

From mounting to operating the floodlight, everything is mostly straightforward. Camera’s video quality is pretty decent, both day and night. However, battery life is a lot less than expected. Probably because it comes with extra bright light, it drains fairly quickly in just under a week; but the house does sit on the corner of a locally busy intersection with lots of cars passing by every night. Otherwise great camera and light.

As the owner of ring wireless cameras I have to say Arlo is now my new favorite. This camera is completely wireless and very easy to set up. The battery life on this device is great and the floodlight is very bright given it being battery powered. The image quality is very good. The camera sensors are by far the best compared to ring. The sensor is impressive it catches everything at a far distance. It is worth every penny i paid.

The light is very awesome. The video and motion detection like a charm. The only i is that i recommend the solar charger for it or u will constantly change out the battery. I would like for it to have a better snap to the bracket. I had to play with it for a while before i finally got the hang of it to snap into position on the mount. It’s worth the money and save on electric bill.

I was having issues with my Arlo Pro 2s at night. Horrible quality. I purchased this for the garage and driveway. So much better! The spotlight is very bright and now I can see the recordings at night in color. Definitely worth the purchase. I bought this with the 25ft extended cable. No more worrying about recharging the battery. Good combo.

Very bright light. The camera picture is very clear. The only down fall is: I think the light constantly coming on discharges the battery faster. Also if you plug it in make sure it is undercover (or bring it inside) because the rain running down the cord to the charge magnet can cause damage to the camera.

Phenomenal spotting and indicator: vehicle, person, animal. Decent zoning, wish it'd catch a tad sooner. 2k isn't amazing if you're looking to ensure details like license plates/face details. Night vision is spot on. Setup is a breeze (like all Arlo devices). Light is perfect brightness!

The Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera is the best of the Arlo products I have, by far. The light is very bright, and the 2K camera is very high-quality. The product gives you the ability to configure and tweak various settings, which is great as well - things like light brightness, video quality, video capture based on selected fields of vision, to name a few. Really impressive product!
