Customers are saying

Customers commend ARMS' surprisingly deep and fun gameplay, phenomenal motion controls, and ease of use, making it enjoyable for players of all skill levels. Many appreciate the colorful characters and find the game's difficulty to be a satisfying challenge. However, some wish for more content and find the price point to be a bit high, while others would like to see more single-player options.

    Fun new IP from Nintendo

Creating new IP's isn't always easy. But when they succeed it's worth noting and pointing out. Arms is one of those games. Just like Splatoon before on the Wii U, Arms is a creative take on boxing. Kinda reminds me of Virttua On for the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast. Instead of Mechs it's "Arms" (pun intended).

I first played Arms on a friend's Switch and really liked it, so when I got my Switch it was the first game I bought. After playing it for a short amount of time, I realized there isn't much depth to it. IMO you should not get this game if you intend on mainly playing solo. If you're main use is to play multi-player online or with friends it's a no-brainer.

My wife and I enjoy the game, it the learning curve is a bit much for a Nintendo game. Using the Switch controllers in the manner they want you to--one in each hand and oriented like plungers--isn't very natural. Once you get started, it's fun, and the single-player challenges are also fun.

This is a very addictive, fun, and sometimes frustrating "twin stick" fighter that is great for casual and hardcore esport gamers. Online is fast and free and the unlock system has you coming back for more! Worth every penny especially with the Gamers Club Unlocked knocking the price down to $47.99!

The graphics, character design and overall gameplay are great (as is to be expected of a Nintendo IP), there's just not enough of it. As a multiplayer experience the game really shines, but don't go in expecting a robust single-player game beyond beating the grand prix mode a few times.
