my wife made rice using water and had excellent results. Then she tried using chicken broth as a substitute for the water and turned out gummy and unevenly cooked. i give an excellent rating because it does its job accurately if using water.

I was looking for a good rice cooker and after lot of research found this one. It has great capacity (10 cups uncooked rice), has many prebuilt presets for White Rice, Brown rice etc., steamer basket to add otehr vegetables, meat. Display is very nice, also has option for Delay timer and looks very nice in kitchen. Would definitely recommend this hands down!

I didn't know how much crockpot technology could improve, so I was skeptical when I bought this. But it really is an improvement over past crockpots, Couldn't be happier. Easy to use, good looking (for a crock pot) and a super help getting dinner while we are out of the house.

I like the saute feature the most. You can use it to make biryani, curry and even bake cake. I am glad that i purchased it. It cooks rice purfectly. Works well for cooking small quantity also.

Love the different features like slow cooking, sauteing. Even the kids are able to make rice.

Love,love,love did I mention that I love this rice cooker! This the perfect addition to your kitchen, especially if you love kitchen appliances. It's very simple and straightforward you will have perfect rice everytime. The bonus is the steamer feature while your rice is cooking.

We always laughed about folks buying a 'rice cooker' until we got this one ourselves. We have only made rice in it so far and are so glad that we did buy it. Easy to follow instructions makes wonderful rice. Presently, we are using it several times a week. Clean up is a breeze!
