Had a bit of a problem to hook up as had to get verification from my internet provider. Check on this before trying to set up to avoid frustration, the help desk for the modem cannot do this

I recommend this modem/router unit

We have teenagers in this house, several adults and lots of devices that want to access wireless so we definitely needed this. So far it works great and no outages. I'd recommend it.

All one needs to do is contact they're internet provider and give them the serial number and other info and they'll take care of the rest.

Good modem/router combo.

If you're stuck with Comcast, this is a good budget option for reliable and compact wifi. The only thing that would make it better would be built in foldable antenna.
