Great step up and no more rental fees

This person was on the basic Comcast internet speed and was forced to update their service. They didn't want to continue to pay Comcast for a rental fee each month, so I bought this for them. It is compatible with Xfinity but the process of installing it was much more of a pain than what was expected. They spent just over an hour on the phone with Comcast getting the setting right. Once up and going, everything was good.

This model does not have capability to connect phone line. It saves the $14/month charge and works fine. Once registered with cable company, no difference in service. One note, make sure it is compatible with your internet server. You can check online or on the box if you are in the store.
