    I bought it for a Spectrum Internet service instead of paying $10 per month's to rent equipment. Set up is simple. Range is not the best and not sufficient for a Split Level 1600sft home. Router also has no WPS connectivity and speeds drop off significant with increased range. I opted to run a TP Link AX Router from the Modems Ethernet along with two TP Link AX Mesh 1 Extenders. Now I got a highly capable network. I also think these days you must have WiFi 6 router to take advantage of modern speed technology.

    I had another arris router that stopped working one day with that one not many people could use wifi at the same time since I purchased this one I haven’t had that problem no buffering and a lot of tv streaming, laptops, phones, you name it
