Good product, bought it to avoid paying the rent modem costs

This product was recommended to be by the sales person. I did not want to rent the modem provided by Comcast which was $13.99 a month for two years. Comcast installed my cable and internet using this modem. No issues so far.

Good unit but the install directions could be improved

I got this to get rid of renting from the cable company. So far, the wifi is a lot faster. You do need to be mindful of the range and limitations, but overall totally worth it!

This was my first time installing a router. Instructions were simple however the passcode wasn't working. The tech support person was so patient in guiding me thru the process, which eventually worked.

I bought this Modem/Router as I switched to XFinity and they were asking for $14 per month for rental. It works as expected. No issues so far. Getting good connection coverage and speed.

NO BIG COMPLAINTS THUS FAR... DOES GET A LITTLE FUNKY WITH SIGNAL EVERY NOW & AGAIN, BUT I JUST REFRESH AND HAVE TO SIGN IN AGAIN FROM TIME TO TIME. THAT PART GETS ANNOYING, BUT OTHER THAN THAT WORKS JUST FINE.

This modem and router isn't very good. While it is easy to set up, the range isn't good and it needs to be rebooted regularly. The surfboard app works intermittently. I tried this unit for months and unfortunately can't return it. I wish I had bought geek squad protection, but the experience with this item will make me buy it for all my future purchases. Beware.

Works somewhat well. But sometimes it knocks us off and we have to reset the connections.

We needed a good cable modem/router and this Arris fit the bill perfectly.

This is exactly the product that I needed, unfortunately not the one I ordered online. We returned the original item and purchased the replacement. No hassle easy as could be. Great staff members.

It works just as it is supposed to work. The green blinking lights can be distracting.

do not buy if R C N is your internet provicer. check with your internet provider if it will work with their service.

Pretty easy setup, but very poor customer support. Had no issues connecting the Router with my service provider, but went to register it on Arris app, and it said our model didn’t exist. App was very outdated, and customer support had no answers for us. Ended up returning, and purchasing a Netgear router. Do yourself a favor, and spend the extra $ on Netgear, you won’t regret it.

Stop renting your Router/Modem from the cable company! I use this to run my smart TV, laptop, iPad and phone and it works great and I am no longer giving the cable company extra money every month.

this modem works well for me; the internet installer verified it would be a good fit. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a WPS learn button, so am having a tough time pairing it with my wi fi extender.

Excellent value for your money!! Gateway cable modem router combo all in one. Also has two Ethernet ports on the back for any devices that require a hard connection, most others only have one.

After 5 years my old modem decided to stop working. Picked up this unit and was able to get it up and running within a few hours. Overall it's simple, not the highest speed but more then what we need.
