We'd had trouble with the standard issue Cox supplied modem, and decided after several tries to get all of our own equipment. This modem was paired with a seperate router, and we haven't looked back since. The modem provides robust performance, and is small and modern looking. The only negative for us is that our office also serves as a guest bedroom, and the lights on this thing are super bright and flashy so much so that we have to unplug it when guests go to bed at night. Aside from this quibble I would definitely recommend!

This product takes up much less space on my desk. The lights give us much better indication on what is going on with our service. We were paying Time Warner too much money for there product. We thought the price of this internet modem was a good buy. We are happy with our purchase.

I purchased this modem to replace an older but still functioning Surfboard modem when I upgraded my Internet service. I have used Motorola Surfboard modems for over 15 years and would never buy any other brand. Consistent flawless performance, easy to install. Highly recommended.

The modem was easy to set up right out of the box. The directions came up on the screen and walked you through the process. The lights on the modem let you know that everything is working fine. The only complaint is that the lights are bright. In a dark room they put off a lot of light.

We bought this modem on the recommendation of our neighbor. The price is quite reasonable and the performance is more than adequate for our two laptops, two tablets, and 3 smart TVs as well as 2 smart phones. Quality product that simply does it's job.

Bought this to replace my rented cable modem. Easily installed, 1 call to my cable provider required to activate it. No issues encountered, the process took 5 minutes tops. It works flawlessly. Would recommend it.

Got this to replace my TWC modem that I was going to be charged a monthly fee to use. Works great and haven't had any problems. Speed test results on a 30 Mbps package : Download-34.35 Mbps Upload - 5.27 Mbps I would recommend this to my own mother. I did and she bought it too!

The modem was easy to set up. It only took 15 minutes for Comcast to associate the modem with my account and then I was online. The modem achieves 55mbps which is over the 50mbps which is included in my plan with Comcast. The modem stays connected continuously and I haven't experienced any interruption of services. The modem also work great with my Cisco Linksys EA6500 Wi Fi router with no problems. Overall this modem is a great buy.

Have only had this two days, but so far this has worked like a champ. Brought it home, hooked it up, called the cable company, and done. I will be ready when the cable company increases the internet speed. Lights are a little bright, but I don't sleep in that room.

I purchased this modem so I don't have to rent one from my cable company. I have had excellent speed and no problems with my new one. It was easy to set up and has excellent range throughout the house and outside. I highly recommend this one if you are looking to purchase one!

The product worked out of the box. It couldn't be any easier to install. I had it up and running in less than 10 mins. The total installation time, however, is well over an hour but it's not because of the product. The delay in getting it working, was due to Comcast.

Very fast modern. My internet is now fast and reliable. The Comcast modern/router all in one combo was so slow and clunky with constant buffering issues. This cleared things right up for me. Couldn't be happier.

Saw the reviews and decided to purchase this instead of leasing the one provided by my ISP. Will pay itself off in less than a year. Has been reliable with no real issues. Just have to go the extra step to notify the ISP with the modem info but that was surprisingly quick

Easy to use. Plugged in and set up with my router. Does what it’s supposed to and has great speeds. Recommend instead of renting a modem.

So far so good! High speed internet with quick downloads and uploads. Great modem! This does not have a built in wireless router so I had to hook one up, which I already had prior to buying the modem. However I'm sure there is another model with a built router. Definitely worth the purchase. A lot cheaper than renting a modem from your service provider.

Comcast increased my lease from $5 to $10 per month so I started looking for alternatives. I've always known that you could get your own modem, but for $5 a month it was worth it to me because if anything went wrong they would provide tech support and would give you a new one if it went bad. I was already using my own router, so it made Comcast's modem router combo half useless. I had asked about just getting a modem and if might be less, but they said they didn't have any. I wish that I had made the move earlier. Set up was easy. I literally called Comcast and then plugged it in. The speeds are the same as the previous modem, which is the most important thing. I've even had less disconnects than with the Comcast unit. WI would absolutely recommend this.

Easy setup and works great. I use broadband 50 Mbps so this is all I need and room for increase in my speed of that happens. It was setup in less than 10 minutes. No more rental from the cable company.

Lots of research and this one just kept coming up on top for me; reliable manufacturer, good reviews by others, ease of setup, built for the future. Works just like promised with never a hitch. My only complaint is, as others have mentioned, the lights are irritatingly bright;

It's a good 'set n' forget' cable modem. Motorola/Arris has been making cable modems for some time and I think they got it down. Haven't had to reboot it yet and I get consistent, reliable speeds with Comcast/Xfinity. Highly recommended for speeds up to 300 Mbps.

I was having signal issues with my home network and I thought it might be my modem so, I picked up this treasure. It was very fast and I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, my modem wasn't the problem so, I wound up returning this one and sticking with the one I already had. However, if/when I do need a new modem, I'll be coming right back to this one.
