Just as I expected for what I need & of which was explained to me very well by the store representative. It's a simple as "plug & play" as long as you have the internet connection activated and connects directly to my wireless router.

Comcast wanted me to upgrade my modem. The new modem worked great but eventually caused my wireless router to die as Comcast pushed more than the router would handle. Ended up having to also upgrade my router. Now everything works.

This is a fast cable modem that is easy to install, took more time with Cox than installation (~30 min). Have it install for 2 months with no issues

I've been determined not to give Time Warner any more of my money than I have to (worst company ever). So I decided to ditch the rental cable modem and buy my own. After reading numerous reviews, I went with this version (there is a smaller version and an all in one version from Motorola). And like the reviews, I had no problems setting it up and it performs great. The only issue I have are with the indicator lights: they're way too bright! They're night light bright. Other than that, excellent product. Thank you BB for matching the online price, too!

The salesman at Best Buy recommended this modem, in addition to a router, to replace the cable company's leased modem/router. So far, our wifi is faster and more reliable than it ever was with AT&T or Cable One!
