Who knew you needed to replace your cable modem after a few years? I sure didn't. Oh well. This one does a fine job replacing my aged out piece of technology. It is really fast and I can online game while my wife streams online. Not much to complain about there.

I traditionally us a particular brand. Found that my preferred brand is 'gear'ed toward routers. Motorola has always been known for great modems... Glad to reconnect! Pulling in higher signals than what I was expecting.

The modem itself works great, however there are better prices. I bought this at $89.99 at BestBuy, but Costco indeed has the SAME EXACT MODEM for $74.99! Luckily BestBuy price matched the modem and in the end I was able to save $15!!!

Reliable and easy to set up. It makes no sense to lease one from the cable company.

As a tech person this baffles me, but this is the 4th unit I've purchased in just as many years. The reason I would purchase this, was up until recently Cox would either force you to pay some ridiculous price for their modem, or offered some sub-par quality version of an off brand. This modem works great, and eventually Cox will send out it's firmware update and lock you out of all the great features of it. They seem to go out after about a few months of service with your internet modem constantly requiring a power cycle, or you get drops in internet speed or no connectivity at all. Hop on down to your local provider and just ask for one of their cable modems, they are the same model, and now just come as part of your yearly service. Best of all I'm going on 2 years now of the provider provided modem with no issues.

The modem I was renting from Suddenlink died on me and they wanted to charge me a new install on a new modem that I would be renting. I read that this was a good modem and was compatible with Suddenlink's network. The speed it provided was great. It stays connected. I received the download speed that I pay for. No more monthly rental. I'm very satisfied.

Very good value and easy to install. Ten times the work and time connecting with Comcast to have the device activated.

Will pay for itself in less than a year after paying "lease fee" for years with TWC. I had to keep their modem for my phone service but am no longer paying a lease fee. Weird but true. I should have done it much sooner.

Another great product with ease of set up and flawless performance. I often rely on Motorola and have never had a problem with them.

Save money or buy your own cable modem. It’s been working well on Comcast with no issues to report.

Easy setup, intuitive icons, and great price. Looses one star due to incredibly bright blue lights. It's a modem, not a lighthouse. Might be worth it if you also need a nightlight.
