easy set up and works like a charm, no need to spend more than this if all you need is a modem for home or even office

Got tired of paying the cable company $10 a month to rent a modem when I could buy one for ~$70. Picked this one up at Best Buy on the recommendation of a sales guy on the floor. It isn't the least or most expensive but certainly as good or better than the one being rented. Simple install. Plugged everything in and made a quick call to out service provider for activation. No glitches so far.

Actually returned this product because we needed a router as well so we bought the other Motorola one with a router. Can't really comment on the product but the other Motorola that includes the router works great.

Easy to install as a replacement for the cable company's modem, and at a price that pays for itself in about 7 months vs renting the modem. It has been very reliable, not so much as a blip since it was installed.

Item works as described. It was a modem recommended by comcast and it seems to do the trick. Sometimes my internet speeds are slower than advertised, but I don't know if it is because of the modem or if Comcast is throttling back its speeds. Nevertheless, I am pretty happy with this modem.

I wanted a modem in compliance with time warner to stop paying the monthly fees and this one was on their list and highly recommended. My internet is working a lot better than with the old modem that I had on the lease

Most cable companies don't tell you this, but you can buy your own modem and not pay the $10 a month to rent theirs. After 10 months, you're in the black on cost. And this little Motorola is awesome. Highly recommend.

I got this becasue it was recommended on the time Warner site as a modem that was compatible. It works great and I get fast speeds.

This modem is working great. I'm really glad we upgraded to 3.0 as I have faster internet now. Price was not bad either!

I bought this to replace my Motorola cable modem that I purchased 6 or 7 years ago. The modem has worked flawlessly. I have not had any connection issues and works great for streaming movies and TV shows over the internet. I would recommend this modem to anyone that does regular tasks like surfing the internet, watching the occasional movie over the internet. But if you are doing more than simple tasks, such as online gaming, you may want to get a faster modem.

got this because I needed something with DOCSIS 3.0 in order to get faster speeds of internet. Hooked it up, it worked, and I have had no issues since. I forget it is there because I never have to mess with it.

I bought this modem so I wouldn't have to rent one from the cable company and I already had a router so I didn't need a combo modem. If my cable company wasn't terrible I would like my setup better, but that's nothing against the modem. It works for my needs and I'm generally happy with it.

Provides stable speeds, and was easy to install, took about 4 minutes to have it provisioned by my cable provider.

This modem was purchased for use with WOW internet. It is very easy to set up and provides the desired speeds.

i bought this modem in 2014 i'm still using it now in 2020 and its never giving me any problems at all i never even had to reset it at all i used it in New York (Optimum),Connecticut (Comcast), and Florida (Comcast) i have saved a lot of money by getting my own modem i wish i knew a long time ago that i could use my own modem and not payed all of that modem fee to the cable company

This cable modem is one of the fastest available. The only thing I would change are the super bright flashing lights on the front .
