I'd been renting a modem from my internet provider and a friend told me about the reliability of this modem. When I went to Best Buy the sales associate was very helpful and ensured that it was compatible with my internet service provider, Cox before my purchase. Because of the reasonable price I will break even and be saving money by having my own modem after a few months.

Works as advertised and saves the $10 monthly. Speed has been great, wish I could turn off the lights though.

I have had this modem in use for about 2 months and it was easy to set up. I had an older modem and I can tell this one is a bit faster, I am streaming video with a better connection now.

I'm not sure what the actual max speed capacity is (the product description on this page says 343.1 Mbps, but Time Warner says it's only 100 and i have to upgrade to the next level of Arris modem for 300+. In any case, this gets me upwards of 115-120 Mbps (even on a 100 Mbps plan from Time Warner), so it suits me just fine. An easy choice to buy this and ditch the rental from the cable company. This thing is crazy fast. I'm pulling 30 meg downloads and 15 meg uploads. It's awesome. Worked right out of the box. No issues.

Straightforward to replace my leased cable modem from Time Warner Cable. Plug the power in. Plug the coax cable in. Plug in the ethernet cable to my existing router. Power it on. Call TWC to give them the listed MAC address of this new cable modem as listed on the label. A few minutes later... everything is working as it should. Been using it for a month. Speed is great and as expected. In the long run, this will end up cheaper than paying $6/month to lease a cable modem from Time Warner Cable.

Had to replace the first one as I couldn't get it to work. But the second one worked with no problems. One complaint, the lights are VERY bright, so you don't want this in your bedroom!

I purchased the modem to keep from paying Time Warner Cable monthly rental. The switch was easy and the Time Warner Cable customer representative made it easy to switch from their modem to my new modem.

I purchased this product in an effort to reduce my internet bill. The ISP charges monthly to use their equipment, and in less than a year this product will be paying for itself. This modem works with most major cable ISPs. I purchased the product when scheduling my install, and the technician installed it for me when they came to hook up service (required by the ISP). Configuring my wireless routers (already owned) to work with this product was exceptionally simple. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased.

This cable modem is by far the most reliable cable modems. If your service provider allows you to have your own cable modem that supports DOCSIS 3.0, this is a must buy. There is no substitute for this product.

My only complaint is not with this modem specifically, but generally, you can't buy a modem with a phone jack, so if you get your phone through the cable company, you end up having to use both modems anyways.

Bought this modem to replace my cable provider's modem. I never noticed a monthly rental fee on my modem till I had been informed of a price increase, shame on me.This unit is recommened by my cable provider and is a snap to hook up. Called my provider to register unit and have had smooth surfin since! All took about 30 minutes-most was the phone call. Download and upload speeds are a little bit quicker with this unit. Also supports IPv6, Advanced Encryption Services if my provider makes a change.

Works great with Comcast once you set it up. Works as expected for a cable modem and gets me the speed I pay for

Replaced the modem offered by ISP. Easy setup and fast speed. Also saving money on my bill; which is a bonus!

It's better to own your own modem rather than renting one. This one so far works great.

This little modem does exactly what it's needs to do. I had it out of the box and set up in less than 5 minutes. The indicator lights are an attractive blue color, accented nicely by the white enclosure. My only complaint is that since it is small and lightweight I cannot stand it up because the coaxial cable pulls it down, and so I have to lay it flat. Also I had to get a price match since I found it cheaper on Amazon. I have had this modem running for about a month and not had to reset it or had any connectivity issues.

it was easy to installed, the speeds increase from the old modem i used from comcast, i feel that i could get greater speeds if the router could accept the higher speeds its outputting.

This is my second Motorola unit and both are still working 25x7, this unit however brings even higher speeds to your surfing experience, if you are thinking about using the very fastest cable has to offer then this is the unit to use as it supports enough channels to maximize your connection. And has the headline say's connect it, power it up, call the cable company to add the ID and enjoy. My older unit has been running for over 5 years now non stop and I expect the same from this unit.

This modem looks great and is also very easy to set up. Just plug it in and bam DOCSIS 3.0 internet speeds.

I kicked out media com home networking as they didn't want to work with us on opening ports for att micro cell. Well since i am using this now I DIDNT NEED ANY PORTS OPEN AND MY MICRO CELL ALSO WORKS!!!
