I bought this mode to replace a cable modem I have been renting for several years. Easily installed, works well.

This was one of two modems I was contemplating, the other was more expensive and handled speeds well beyond what I have for internet service. Everything else being equal, I'm happy with this purchase. Had to have Comcast provision it to get it to work, but that's normal when bringing your own equipment. Saved $10/month over Comcast's proposed modem rental.

I was having issues with my internet from Comcast. Went to BB and ended up speaking with a rep that happened to be in store. He sold me on this and I couldn't be happier. Price and performance are great.

would recommend for even the beginner to buy. it is easy to hook up and quite fast. has great range for 6000 square foot home.

Needing to update our modem, I did a lot of research on different brands, different modem properties, and price. This modem filled all our requirements and was at a very nice price. Now that we are using it we find that we're very happy with our choice!

I have owned Motorola(Arris) cable modems for years and they have never failed me. I was paying for 75 mb from my cable provider but my docsis 2 could only put out 34 mb so I upgraded to the arris docsis 3.0 cable modem and haven't been happier. I am know getting 90 mb(speedtest) and my computer is lightning fast! If you're looking to upgrade to a docsis 3.0 cable modem or just get a better one the Arris surfboard docsis 3.0 cable modem is the way to go!

This modem was super easy to hook up with a brief call to my cable company. With the elimination of rental fees I had been paying for their modem, this unit will pay for itself in less than a year.

this is a good looking modem and so far so good it works fine as it did my old one which i only changed because the letter i received from comcast saying that it didn`t support their system any more.

best modem on the market today! this is the easiest modem. had to call comcast to setup but it ran faster then their modem.

I upgraded from an old linksys modem and saw a 4-5X improvement in upload speed and an an extra 10% - 20% on download. This modem boots quickly and every time, versus my old one that would fail to connect occasionally. Status lights are VERY BRIGHT, so if you use in a dark meda room, you may have to hide the modem - A shame, since the industral design is great! Cox.net setup took all of 10 minutes.

This product works completely as advertised. I was tired of paying the big rental fees from the cable company, so I decided to purchase my own and it definitely did the trick for me. My only advice would be to buy it sooner than later and save yourself even more money. The one caveat is that once you hook this up you will need to contact your internet provider and let them know that you have a new modem so that they can allow it to work on their network.

Happy with the purchase. Easy set-up, works well with mediacom cable. Internet speeds faster than my 5 year old modem.

I bought this modem two months ago and I love it it is fast and very affordable I wish i would have bought it a year ago.

Required for obtaining the fastest speeds available from your ISP. Upgraded from Comcast - Performance Plus to Blast and the new DOCSIS 3.0 modem was required. Read all the other reviews and their right. Bonded Connections create a more reliable connection and speeds are much improved.
