I've been completely satisfied with the speed and reliability of this modem. Always go with separate modem and router. The combined versions always have something lacking comparatively.

We bought this modem instead of renting one from the cable company. Really easy installation with excellent performance. Can handle the higher speeds of the cable Internet service.

Set up was simple with no problems. With no change to downstream router or upstream broadband service network speed increased more than fifty percent. No timeouts. So far is impressive.

I bought this to lower my cable bill. The sales person was great. There was a more expensive one but he said that was the modem he had and it was great for him. We stream movies and have 2 laptops and 4 other wireless devices in our house. I ran a speed test with the router I that TWC rented me and then with this modem. The upload and download speeds were faster. So not only did it save me money on my bill in the long run but I got faster speeds as well. Compatible with TWC and works well with my router.

Quick setup easy to use I had so many problems with rental modems from cable subscribers... it's so nice to have one that actually works and functions properly!

This cable modem is reliable and fully compatible with comcast/xfinity!! Takes less than 5 minutes to hook up...then just call comcast with the MAC and serial number to activate.

I bought the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Silver about 4 years ago and it is still running and working great. I could not be happier with how easy it was to install and set-up. Great router for a good price.

I got tired of paying TWC monthly for their router. So I bought this one and returned Time Warner's router back to them. Turns out I got up to 10mb faster speeds, consistently. I pay for 20mb/s down, and with their router I averaged 15mb/s. Now I consistently get 25mb/s down. It was an older router, which was most likely the reason for the slow speeds. This router should last a long time, at least until Google decides to bring Google Fiber to Dallas, which will probably be never. Note to Time Warner peeps, this wasn't plug and play for me. I had to contact TWC and give them the router info so they could activate it on their end.

The Arris - SURFboard Docsis 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem - Silver is super easy to set up & works great. If it's time for you to upgrade your speed, this is a great choice.

I got this modem to stop paying rental fees to the cable company. It's exceptionally easy to setup - really just plug it in. Fast connection / speed does just what it should.

Great modem. Worth the money. Check what cable speeds your provider is giving you first and most like this modem will supersede your expectations with what the ISP provides.

This modem is so much better than the one given to me by the service provider. I have it paired with the Netgear AC-1600 Dual band router and they work awesome in our home.

The surfboard is a fantastic modem capable of keeping up with all the devices in my home. I'm using this modem through a wireless router and a wired connection with no problem.

Works great so far. I have comcast so I wasn't sure if it will work smoothly with xfinity, but it does. Works great so far! Fast and reliable. And the price was reasonable.

This is the best modem I have ever purchased. Easy install and delivers lighting fast internet speed. I purchased the 2 year extended warranty for $10 just to be on the safe side because this is a good investment you want to be protected.

This modem has been great. I have not had any unexpected hang ups, freezing, or require hard restarts since purchasing this modem. Quick setup and a 5 minute phone call with comcast was all it required. This modem has great download speed.

We were having trouble with an internet connection and upgraded our modem to the Arris. Very pleased so far - much faster and more reliable than our previous Netgear.

Very fast modem and super easy to install. Highly recommend this for anyone with faster internet service. We have a 50MB plan and are getting close to that with this modem.

I purchased this unit after I figured out how much money I had given to Comcast over the preceding 5 years in the form of modem rental fees. It works perfectly on the Comcast network. There's really no setup or configuration required. Just plug it in, register it with Comcast, and use it. Don't forget to return your rental unit to Comcast so they stop charging you a monthly rental fee. Note that there is NO TELEPHONE JACK on this modem. There is also no router function, Ethernet switch, or wireless access point. I plug an Apple Airport Time Capsule into this modem, and that functions as the router, switch, and WAP.

Easy fast to set up. Great buy. I originally connected to router wrong but I figured out once I returned it for a net gear. It had a faster connection than the net gear one and didnt take as long for time Warner to get a signal to it. My loss. Net gear works but just took longer initially.
