Upgrade my previous Motorola modem( with only 38 Mbps) for Time Warner Cable internet Service Plan(upload speed of 100 Mbps required). Price is right for my need.

Fast, stable modem. It is perfect for areas where 50 to 100MBs is the "Ultimate" speeds. If you are lucky enough to be in an area that support 300MBs, go for this models big brother...the 6181. Like I said, not worth the extra 30-40 buck for the 6181 if your are will not support 300+ anytime soon... and by the time the area upgrades, the DOCSIS standard will most likely be updated (just my humble opinion). Either way, no need to throw money to the cable company on a modem lease.

Does what it says. Great product, fast, easy to set up. If you are tired of paying monthly fee, this is the product for you. Will get your money back within a year.

Wanted to purchase a modem instead of continuing to lease one from Time Warner Cable. This one had good reviews and seemed reasonably priced for the quality. Set up was very easy (except you do have to get on the phone with Time Warner Cable for them to authorize the new equipment which did take about 30 minutes). Performance has met expectations up to this point, so I would recommend it to anybody looking for a new basic cable modem.

After hooking up the modem to my cable outlet though Time Warner Cable, I noticed that there have been no dropped signals or slowed connections! I have hooked up the Linksys WRT1900AC to it and my connection speeds are superb! I highly recommend this product. Does exactly as it is intended to do, and takes off another $8/month from my ISP :-D

Bought as a replacement to DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem. Very easy to set up. Performance has been more stable than prior modem. However, although cable provider indicated I should see higher performance - I cannot tell the difference.

What a great modem, it was easy setting up. It seems to be working fast too, haven't had any issues so far. And I like the smaller design compared to my last one.

This cable modem is easy to install and setup. Basic cable modem. Only complaint would be bright blue lights, light up room at night, only because we have it on top of a book shelf next to router to get better range in house.

After not paying to rent a modem from my provider all of a sudden a rental fee appeared even though I had a set price agreement. They were going to start a $8.00 per month rental fee in the middle of a contract, so I did some research and found I could use this modem and in just a few months be ahead of the game. I purchased this modem from my local Best Buy and installed it. I did have to work with my ISP about 15 minutes to get it on line and it has performed flawlessly ever since. The only complaint I would have is the led panel is just a little too bright, especially in a darken room.

Works perfectly well with my Xfinity internet service. Very easy to install. Been using for a couple weeks now, and haven't yet needed to reboot for any reason.

Great cable modem - way better than the one the company supplied. Recommend this unit if you are looking to maximize the speed you are already paying for.
