This modem was easy to set up both by me and Time Warner Cable. I was back online in just a few minutes. Working without any issues for a few months now.

Works like a charm. Easy to setup. Easy to use. Turn it on and forget about it. If you want to change settings (like passwords or frequencies) it's easy to do.

I was able to price match this with amazon, bought it $10 cheaper. This pays for itself by avoiding the ISP rental fee. Works great, set up was a breeze.

This modem is much better than the modem TWC "lends" you for a monthly fee. We used to get hiccups when we would stream, surf the web, and play games online at the same time. Now we can do it all at once without any stutters. We have only reset the modem once since we've had it for about 3 months, our old modem would disconnect at least 2 or 3 times a week. Not really a big deal but it's a hassle when you're at a good point in a tv series or in the middle of playing an online game. All in all, our online experience has improved about 3 fold and we are very happy with this product.

Works well, easy to install and meets time warner requirements for high. Speed internet. Just plug in and you are in business.

This had a great price. The blue lights are very bright. I think I can turn them off, but haven't learned to yet. It might be better to put it in a hidden area. Otherwise it works well with xfinity.

I recently stepped up my broadband connection to the upper-limits of my previous cable modem, so I decided to buy a new one in anticipation of further speed increases down the line. Surfboards are reliable and have served me well with several cable internet providers -- in my case Comcast and RCN. The 6141 continues to work well and without trouble. The best thing you can say about a cable modem is that it does what it should without you noticing it. It uploads and downloads at the proper speed, and I go for months without even thinking it's time for a reboot. That's this device.

This modem had simple set up and works well. At about 90 dollars you save money compared to renting from your service provider within 9 months. Excellent.

The modem works great. No setup was required. Just take it out of the box and plug it in. Can't be any easier than that! It's been working great for a month.

I had to replace an older modem and this one was easy to setup and has worked great so far. My internet speed has improved. I am very happy with the purchase.

Replaced my old modem with this one and my internet speed went up about 30 percent! Lights are a little bright on it, but other than that no complaints.

I've had this modem for a few months now and no issues. It was easy to set up and isn't bulky. A good modem for casual and gaming use.

Only a couple of months into this modem, it appears to be up to the task of my internet providers requirement thus far, not to mention it eliminates the $10 a month rental fee. One relatively painless call to my internet provider with the modems ip # and it was game on. My existing router had no problems with the switch over as well. If no malfunction occurs over the next 18 months I will say I should have given it a 5 star rating. The only issue I see at this point is the led display, with all of them on, this thing lights brighter than a Christmas tree ! If this is the only issue, then it's all good. I found a folded post it calmed all that brightness. If the unit continues without interruption for 12 months it will more than pay for itself.

For what I need to use it for, the modem works fine. No lag with speed, hasn't been problematic yet, and saves a good bit on "rental fees" from the cable company.

I bought this because I didn't wanna rent one from xfinity. This is compatible and much faster. It's an easy set up and is fast for all I use at home.

Unit works as promised and was very easy to install. Just gave MAC address to cable company, connected to network and was active in just a couple minutes.

This modem wasn't my first choice, but it was recommended as a good reliable modem for the speed of my internet (50mbps). The setup was relatively straight forward, except for having to add it to the approved list with Cable. I wish it had some sort of a simple little stand, because it's so light that the weight of the cables has a tendency to pull it over, but so far so good!

ISP is Mediacom (Download Speed up to 15 Mbps, Upload speed up to 5 Mbps) in case that matters to anyone reading my review. I purchased this modem along with the Linksys AC1200 Smart Wi-Fi Router. I mention this as I think the two together are what work so well. Before this purchase, I invested $130 into a Motorola all-in-one router/modem and had nothing but trouble and the internet/Netflix didn't work half the time. With this new modem and the above mentioned router, our internet (including Netflix) performs perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.

This modem looks great and flies along just fine on my Comcast connection. I would recommend covering up the lights though as they are beyond bright.
