This was a simple setup. Unplug my old Comcast modem and plugged in this one. Went on the Internet and let Comcast do their thing and everything was unboxed and running in less than ten minutes. No more rental fee!!

I purchased this as an upgrade to a previous Motorola Surfboard modem that I had for about 5 years. This one has much better speeds all around and was a breeze to setup. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable modem that doesn't require much maintenance. My only comment for improvement would be to produce a modem with a switch to turn off the display lights on the front so they don't illuminate the room or closet you stash the modem in, as this unit is brighter than a night light.

Had it for 2 months, I think the modern so far has been fast, reliable. I would recommend everyone to buy this to avoid cable modern rental charge

My cable provider allows the option of providing your own modem and then removes the rental charge from the bill. I pick this one up on the recommendation of the sales consultant and the in-store representative of the cable company. The cable company was here upgrading my service and was happy to install it, along with a splitter so that I can continue to use their modem for my phone service. Performance has been consistently good and I have had no issues. The unit went on sale one week later, and Best Buy was happy to refund me the difference.

This modem is consistent and reliable. I am constantly checking Internet speeds(via speed test) and I regularly have higher download speeds than what I pay for from Comcast. Before I purchased this modem, I rented a modem/router from Comcast and the speeds were significantly lower than the plan I was paying for. Now, I never have issues with Internet speeds(streaming HD Netflix, Hulu, or Kodi) or connectivity(I haven't had a lapse in Internet since setting it up). This model is a great buy and even handles Internet plans as low as 7mbps.

This modem is very easy to set up. It increased our speed slightly but most of all we have not had to reset the modem since we insralled this one.

Saving 10 dollars a month and was easy to setup and the speed is a little better than the one I rented from xfinity. Would recommend this to everyone.

I've had no problems with this modem. It works well with my internet provider. Seems to be getting more speed than what I'm subscribed for.

This is a quick easy set up and works with the big Internet companies. Ditch the all in one's that you get from the Internet companies and use this with the night hawk router and your in for a nice suprise

This was very easy to install and works fine. I don't do gaming, but it has no problem loading videos. A real good deal, reasonably priced.

It installed easily and then I called my internet provider to activate it for me. Worked right away.

I have Comcast 105Mbps and get those speeds when hardwired to my computer. So far no disconnects or issues. Saves money having to rent from Comcast which is $10/mo. Also, you can price match Costco at $74.99

I was able to set this up for my mother in law in less than 20 minutes, including 10 mins waiting on the phone to activate w/ my cable company.
