This does what is described. Speed seems great. Connecting it was pretty easy too (still had to call my provider to help but pretty quick)

This modem is fast and reliable! It is worth the money and just what I was looking for! Recommended to me by a person who works in IT.

I originally purchased this from BestBuy.com. Pickup from my local store was easy. I didn't even open up the box when I found it for a bit cheaper from a competitor. After speaking with BestBuy.com on the very same day that I purchased this cable modem, I was quite disgusted that the Low Price Guarantee only applies as the item is being purchased. Even though I purchased 3 hours previously, they would not match the price. So I went back to my local store fully intent on returning this cable modem and purchasing from the competitor. Luckily, the customer service desk recognized this for the opportunity that it was and was able to help match the competitor's pricing. So I bought two :-). (One for me, one for my parents). My service is provided by a Time Warner carrier, after a quick phone call, I was online with my new cable modem. My parent's service is through Comcast and while it took quite a bit longer to get through their phone system, I was online in a decent amount of time. In both cases, I purchased this cable modem because it is DOCSIS 3.0 compliant and gets me out of or avoids the rental fee for using the Service Provider's own modem. The only thing that I would warn about the cable modem itself is that the lights are quite bright compared to all my previous cable modems. Not a deal breaker by any means.

I have always used the Motorola surf boards. They are dependable, easy to install and are fast connections to the new high speed cable internet. This one fits the bill with my cable company going to even faster speeds. Its like having a new computer the speeds are so fast. This is a reliable modem and I would reccommend it to anyone wanting the fastest speeds available.

The Motorola modem has very good support to get connected with the cable provider. Wi Fi speed and rang a lot better than the older modem.

I had this same one and it got fried by lighting. The old one was fast and dependable so I got the same one. Works great with Cox Cable.

This modem has a small footprint. The product works very well and is an upgraded version of the one I was "renting"from the cable company.

solid modem- speeds stay stable even with TWC this was my second modem as TWC couldn't figure out how to program the Netgear I had purchased, which was on their approved list.. The symbols on the front look like hieroglyphs and the data transfer light is red, which is very confusing (shouldn't it be green?) Well worth the money but don't expect to get any higher than 100mps through TWC even though its rated for over 300.

I have no complaints with this modem. It's compatible with Time Warner Cable and they support this modem to do speeds up to 100mbp download speed (if it's offered in your area). Installation was a breeze and didn't even have to have a technician come to my house--just a call to customer support. This modem will pay for itself in 7 months.

Never again will I lease a modem. Setup was easy and it works better than the one I leased through Comcast for years.

I have had cable internet for a long time. It has been really great. Recently I had some rewiring done. The tech indicated that my speed would be increased by getting a more modern modem. After installing this I found downloads that took 2 minutes took 2-3 seconds. Music and movies that use to load then play now play seamlessly. Well worth the upgrade.

Modem was easy to setup, worked with comcast Internet out of the box. No issues and reliable.

Streaming all my TV shows with ease. Downloading movies in minutes. What more can you ask for. Great product for an amazing price.

Easy to install and works great. Speed is faster and I don't have to pay the $10 a month lease on the modem. Happy camper here!

I was very pleased with the easy installation of the cable modem. It is working great and it is saving me the monthly TWC fees.

It's hard to review a device that either works, or doesn't work. There is no middle ground on a modem. I will offer the following based on my thoughts though: * I do notice a performance increase over my DOCSIS 2 modem * I haven't had to reboot this device since I installed it over two months ago (used to have to do that regularly on my old modem). * It's compatible with Comcast in my area and we got it up and functional with little issue (several remote reboots from the Comcast tech and about 20 minutes on the phone with them).

This is working great. Our speed is triple according to speedtest.net. It is not a simple plug and play if you are buying it and setting up at home. I am not a computer expert but even I knew some of the things they wanted to ry were useless. I made two calls for each issue I had and got the right person the second time on each issue. If you have telephony like this does you need to have the modem registered separately by the phone division (actually the main tech unit - not the people who answer the 866 phone number.

I bought this modem because my old one kept cutting out, this modem has been working great no issues great speeds
