After years of non-stop frustration with my cable company's modem/router combo including, but not limited to, inconsistent speeds, random inexplicable failures, leasing fees, I decided to buy my own equipment. I have never been happier spending $89. I've had mine for two years and just recently bought another for my dad. With what you'll spend monthly for THEIR equipment, you'll more than pay for this and a separate router in short time and your equipment will be light years ahead of theirs technologically.

I needed a new modem and after reading all the reviews, I bought the Motorola. Set up was a snap and the performance is excellent.

Yes these lights are freaking bright! So as long as your modem isnt sitting facing you while you game, watch tv, or are trying to sleep your good. I have noticed that this is a little better than my Cisco DPC3010. Online gaming seems to be a little more steady, as well as a more consistant downloading speed and quality.

This cable modem was simple to set up out of the box and went right to work. Operation has been error-free with no performance issues for the last 2 months. The compact size and white housing look great. The case appears to provide superior venting and is a plus since there are no fans in these units and heat can sometimes be an issue. My only knock on this unit is the LED display, which does not display the colors indicated in the Quick Start Guide and is so bright we don't need a nightlight anymore. Maybe that's a plus.

I bought this modem to replace an older model, that was going bad. It was very easy to install, and is much faster than my old one.

Perfect modem for the job. I have Suddenlink high speed net and it works great. I believe it even had the specs for their HD TV package, I pretty much only watch TV on the web. I have 5 heavy active internet users at my home and didn't want to have to pay the equipment fee. This modem works like a champ and I couldn't be happier. It has a usb port as well so I was able to setup a 8GB in home cloud server for music and movie shares. 4 days in and the cloud HD i set up is performing great, no issues to date.

Home office with a work network plus laptop, smart tv, smart phones. Works great, great speed, 0 issues. I have time warner.

This modem performs as advertised. Super easy set-up and I now get to experience the internet speeds I'm paying for. This replaced an ancient Motorola Surfboard that maxed out at around 30mbps. It was great, but time passed it by. I now get 75mbps which is great for streaming, gaming, etc. Best Buy did a price match on the spot and I came away with a great purchase. If you need a modem, do the research and you will see this one recommended a lot. Then go out and pick it up. You won't be sorry.

Great modem, especially compared to those that the cable company rent out. Significant performance upgrade and easy to set up. Only complaint, and its a small one, is the lights are brighter and more distracting than necessary.

I replaced a time warner cable modem with this modem and have been very impressed. It consistently gets higher internet speeds, runs cool, and has no issues. It's quite small and convenient. The buttons are very bright which can be seen as both a positive and a negative. No complaints, great modem for the money.

Bought this modem for my parents to replace the leased modem. It was easy to install and worked as designed.

Had an old router that just died so needed a replacement. Read several favorable reviews and verified with Comcast it was compatible. Very easy to install (only hold up was Comcast). Has worked flawlessly since purchased.
