I purchased this ahead of getting a new apartment and was definitely going to need internet. I have the 50Mbps and have been getting faster speeds. In conjunction with an Asus Gigabit router I have all I need to satisfy my video streaming and online game play to my hearts content! Set up was a breeze after signing up for my cable internet, I logged in and was instantly on the internet.

When notified by Comcast that my previous modem (I buy; not rent) was no longer 'usable', I selected the Motorola Surfboard DOC-SIS3 from the compatible modems on Comcast's website. Result = easy installation (synced with my Asus RTN66 router without any effort) and much quicker response time on internet!

Awesome device, bought this to replace the all in one Motorola Cable modem router because of N+ signaling issues (weak signal beyond 15 feet). Modem is rock solid its been up and transferring content for 60+ days now without a reboot or reset. The ancient Surfboard device from motorola we replaced was unstable and had to be restarted frequently. Can handle multiple 1080p downstreams easily, and once setup is rock solid. My only complaint is the excessively bright LEDs on the front panel, they light up the whole room, and bleed through the perforated sides of the device case. Not a big deal but my cable modem is in the entertainment center with the HTPC and it can be distracting.

We bought this modem to replace an older Motorola modem we had that could no longer support the speed provided from our cable company. We upgraded to 100Mbs and this modem handles it with ease. This unit is a huge improvement and still has room to expand to a higher level of service. Since our initial setup we have had no problems with signal loss and it has been very dependable.

I've been running with this modem with Comcast as my ISP. After a couple months, so far so good. I picked up a little speed over my Docsis 2.0 modem that I was replacing. Overall buying my own modem instead of renting from Comcast has worked out very well. This modem will pay for itself after 10 months.

This seems to be a great modem and easy to set up. This replaces the time warner modem and speeds the internet up considerably.

Works great and easy to set up. Only thing I don't like is the color and look. Was surprised it wasn't black with cleaner lines.

I have been using Motorola modems for over 10 years without any issues. Unfortunately, my old DB5100 didn't support the latest DOCIS3.0 standard and finally stopped working correctly with the higher speed feed I was getting. So, I dropped by BestBuy and found this SB6141 and picked it up. With minimal set up time, I was back up and running. I haven't run any side-by-side metrics of the speed increase between the outgoing SB5100 and the incoming SB6141 so can't comment on any speed increase.

Small in size, easy not complicated, nice color. Does an excellent job.

I got this to work with the TWC network. Even the TWC technicians recommended this product. It seems to have high reliability in the industry.I have been using it since 3 months. Only one time the internet speed went low and after a modem reboot, the speed was back to a good limit. Overall good.

I wanted to find a modem that works with Time Warner Cable so I do not have to pay monthly modem rental fees. This modem works great. It is very fast, reliable and easy to install.
