Bought this when I moved from DSL to cable to avoid the Comcast monthly rental fees. This product was highly rated by tech review sites and by users on BestBuy.com AND it was one of the modems allowed by Comcast. Unpacked it, plugged it into the cable connection, and good to go. Have been running it for three months now with no problems whatsoever. It fits my needs!

Bought this to replace an old Linksys modem that finally burnt out after years of use. Very simple to set up. Had to call my provider (Mediacom) so they could properly identify the modem and get things set up on their end. After installing, my roommate commented that he thought the connection was faster. Now looking to upgrade my router as well (also old Linksys).

The SB6141 is a great modem. It is easy to set up and is built solid. It has light indicators on the front that make it easy to see the status and connection speed ranges upstream and downstream.

Easy setup with xfinity. Works great, fast. Would recommend this highly.

Now that TWC is charging a modem rental fee in my area I needed to find a reliable cable modem that was approved by TWC to purchase. I've followed cable modem tech for a while as I had planned to buy a modem anyways and this one has always had my eye. DOCSIS 3.0 will allow this modem to handle future speed increases by the internet providers and proven reliability and ease of use from thousands of reviews across the internet sold me. No need to look any further than this modem if you want t future-proof (unless you want a modem with a router built in, which I wouldnt recommend).

I just recently got the Time Warner 100 down / 10 up deal and purchased this modem instead of renting from them. It has worked like a charm and is giving me solid internet speeds. Since the breakeven point was just over a year I figured I'd shell out the cash and it has been totally worth it.

I read reviews about this modem. Its a simple modem that goes up to 100mbps. I have apple products and i have the Apple Airport Extreme Base so it works perfect with it. I use time warner cable and now that I own myh modem I pay 8 dollars less everything... in less than a year i get my money back. I read on the box that also works with verizon and other carries

Easy to setup, good value for money, fast internet speed.

Suddenlink increased their speeds to 50mbps, but my trusty old modem could not keep up. Purchased this, had to call Suddenlink for activation, gave them some info from the modem and it was working. It's been running for about a month now with no issues. I have not had to reboot it or anything. The only thing I don't really like are the very bright lights on the front of it.

After reading the reviews, I picked this modem. Easy set up but I did need to give Time Warner the MAC ID so it could be synced. Has worked well with no issues. The only downside is the LEDs on the front. They are extremely bright and light up a room at night. Had to turn it around and put a box in front of it to sleep.
