The modem was easy to set up, works well, and looks good.

It was a great modem, but I found out that I did not really need one. It attached quickly and automatically brought itself up to speed. I talked to my service provider and was told that I really did not need it so I returned it. However, if I needed another one, it would be the Motorola.

I got it a few weeks ago and it works great. My internet is with Comcast and they were sending notices that my old modem (about 8 or 9 years old) didn't have the full speed capabilities a docsis 3.0 one would. I did a little research on the ones they recommended and so far it's done well.

Hands down the best cable modem you can get. This one tops out at 300 Mbps, which is more than sufficient for years to come. And it's a good thing too, because this thing will last for years. Setup was as simple as plugging it in and calling Comcast with the MAC address. Save yourself the money - don't lease a modem. This thing will pay for itself within a year.

I recently moved to the Tulsa area and was surprised to see the monopoly Cox has on actual high-speed Internet service in my new neighborhood. Having had cable internet before I was aware of how much is thrown away each month on renting a modem so I looked around and decided to buy this one. Not only did it have excellent reviews, but it was listed as one of the recommended units on the providers web page and by the tech on the phone when I was establishing service. Setup was plug and play and my service has been extremely fast and reliable ever since. A great product.

Recently switched to TWC. Bought this modem to avoid monthly rental fee. I'm glad I did. Test showed Down/Up speed even better than published numbers. Installed with a Sonicwall VPN Firewall behind it with security policies switched on; Gateway AV, Anti-Spyware, Content filtering and DPI. No problem with speed. Great with my SSL VPN , media streaming . . .

A very well built internet modem that has a nice internal user interface for the techno geeks, yet is plug-and-play for the average internet user/home networker. Really fast and reliable. Does nothing wrong. It is not a wireless router, and that is exactly what I was looking for. Compatible with Time Warner Cable and others. . . You can't go wrong with this unit. Motorola did a very good job with this one. YouTube has some very informative reviews of the this model, check it out for yourself.

I am using this modem with Verizon. The internet works pretty fast and no issues at the moment. I owned the older version, SB6121, but moved from a different state, and Verizon notified that the modem cannot be transferred from another states... Not sure if that is true, but purchasing this modem saves you money vs paying the monthly rent for the modem.

PC mag is right about this modem. For the $ it's the best on the market. I switched from Comcast router and modem built into one and went with this modem. My internet speed has improved and my connection had not dropped once. I use Internet 20 hours a day. Definitely recommend this modem

I have had and used this modem more than once in my life and neve had an issue. It's a solid product and I highly recommend to anyone who's tired of paying modern rental fees. Good for TWC and AT&T users, but not good for anyone with Verizon FiOS, which uses MOCA instead of Docsis 3.0.

So many modems to choose from! Geek Squad recommended this one for its performance and price. It was a great price, but I'm even more happy with its performance. My Internet connection/speed has never been better!
