When it comes to routers motorolla has been in the game a long time. This is a good choice for a router or for a few bucks cheaper you could get the Zoom. Both are excellent choices and i have experience with both. Overall this is a very reliable router. I would recommend putting in on an APC surge arrest and/pr getting Best Buys extended warranty plan on it.

We had been renting a router from Comcast for years and never gave it any thought but realized we could buy one for less than it costs to rent for the year! So worth getting your own. Set up was quick but did require Comcast to sync with their end but it works great and no more rental.

Based on my needs, this item was recommended to me by the sales associate. It was very easy to set up and meets my needs perfectly. At che kout, however, I was not offered a contract and found out after the fact that I could have taken one out within 15 days, which needless to say, i did not find out timely. The product itself is perfect for me.

the modem itself works fine and does get good speeds. The problem is if I need to reset it, you have to unplug it. It would be nice to have a power switch. The lights are also bright on the modem which can be good or bad. I have it in the living room so it gets annoying and it would be nice to have a feature to turn them off or reduce the brightness without the need of duct tape.

This is a very fast modem that works very well. No hiccups at all.

Purchased this because we were tired of paying for something month after month that was so inferior, constant issues, slow speeds even though we paid for the highest available. The arris has made such a difference, no issues any more with internet or streaming. Would recommend to everyone. Pays for itself in a couple months then saves you money!

The product works great. My downloads tested at 38 Mb/s and uploads at 8.54 Mb/s. I had thought that my router, a Linksys WRT55AG was the issue, especially since I had different speeds when directly connected to the older modem. Now the system flies with and without the router. I stream content to 3-4 tv's plus my son is a constant online gamer. no issues.

This modem is as fast as advertised and easy to set up. Just a couple minuets and I was surfing the internet.

I had an older version of Motorola surfboard and was overheating and dropping connection. ...so upgraded to a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. Easy to setup and had this now for 6 wèeks and is very reliable. The download speed has also go e up a bit

Great modem for the cost. Easy to set up. Prior to using this modem and a router we just got, we were having problems getting our maximum speed while using our wi-if. We have a lot of devices always running at one time. Haven't had any problems yet. Very happy with product.
