We were having so many problems getting signal with our new AND expensive wireless router. We live in an older home with VERY thick plaster board walls. To save money, we decided to stop renting a router from our Internet company and bought this model. Wow...first time we have EVER had a good enough signal to stream Netflix in our bedroom. Great product!

Replace an earlier Motorola modem with sb6141, wished I would have done sooner. Easy hook up, a quick call to my provider had it up and running. Instantly noticed how much faster my upstream and downstream speeds were. Been using for a month now with no issue. Highly recommend.

had it about 2 months and seems to be working great. it's a cheap solution to avoiding monthly modem fees and should pay off in 5 more months. You really don't need anything faster than this. So as long as it holds up then its worth it. plus you get a 1 yr warranty so you'll still end up paying less then renting a modem

The 6141 was incredibly easy to set up and was able to deliver the download speeds I pay for. If I had one fault it is that the lights on it are way too bright and I am looking for a way to block the light it puts off.

This is my first modem purchase and once Comcast figured their side out it has worked flawlessly. Super fast!!!!! Couldn't be more pleased. I could see a problem if you had this where you sleep because the lights are so darn bright.

This was on the list of approved cable modems that I had from my cable provider. It was also the same brand as the modem I was leasing from them. I replaced the lease modem at $8 a month with this one and will match my return on investment at 10 months with confidence.

I bumped my Internet speed from 50 megs per second to 100 megs per second through Cox. My older Motorola modem SB 6121 could not handle the speed. It stopped me at 50 megs per second. This modem brought my download speed to over 125 megs per second wired or wireless! HIGHLY recommend! Works absolutely EXCELLENT!

I was shopping for a modem to have as my own to save the $7 a month fee on the cheap fisher price my first modem playset comcast had issued me. After bridging the language barrier and reading the guy on the telephone the MAC ID number 8 or 9 times, it was working... I live in the middle of nowhere and have a dirty signal to begin with, but this modem has advanced error correction and can trunk 8 connections down and four up, meaning my speed went from 6 down and 3 up to 37 down and 7.5 up. I'm quite impressed and it will have paid for itself within the year's end. I can't emphasize how amazing this modem is for the $100 price tag.
