I had been paying $8 a month to TWC and didn't realize it. We went to Best Buy looked through their selection and decided this was the modem that fit our needs. My internet is much faster and less laggy after upgrading. Do yourself a favor and purchase this instead of renting an old basic model from your cable provider.

This modem appeared on the Comcast-approved equipment roster. I had been renting one from Comcast for $10.00/month, but no more. All I had to do was call Comcast and provide them the serial number and the MAC number on the device. From that point forward, the modem worked great. In nine months the modem will pay for itself.

I purchased this modem after much research and I'm not disappointed. This modem works flawlessly and have no issues using it with Cox as ISP. I have a 200 Mbps plan and this modem handles that with no problem. You won't have issues with this modem.

I upgraded from this modems smaller cousin at the recommendation of my net providor. This modem has true 8 channels available and can handle pretty much any residential speed you would put against it. I have not had any troubles in the 2 months now since I installed it with this modem. For anybody running any considerable speeds, or that does any thing more than just very very basic web surfing this is a good go to unit.

When my Internet provided told me I had to upgrade my modem, i talked to one of the knowledgeable service staff at Best Buy. He recommended the Arris SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0. I installed it easily. My Internet provider told me it worked beautifully. My Internet service is now much faster. What more could one ask!

Modem is really fast and very easy to set up. If needing one I would strongly recommend this one. Does everything it says it can do and does it with ease. Installation is easy and works with most cable providers.

I wanted a modem that would be easy to set up. I selected this one because it was the same brand as my old one, which no longer worked with my cable provider. It was on the list of approved routers from my Cox cable. Easy to set up and done within a few minutes. Nice display to show connectivity. Love this router.

I was having trouble with my previous Motorola SB6580 Cable Modem. The local ISP tech advised that due to some impedance in my line, my old one was having to transmit too hot, causing the device to overheat and lock up. While the SB6580 had built in router and wireless, I already had enough other gear to handle those functions so this one works like a champ. Have not had any problems or reboots since installing it.

Purchased on sale, black Friday so we got a great price. Easy to install and compatible with TWC. Have had it for over a month and there have been no problems.

Good modem for cable internet services to save the monthly charge for renting their modem which is more than likely refurbished before it gets to you. If you are going to keep your internet service for at least two years then I would recommend obtaining this modem if your service charges you monthly for the modem.

The modem is good. Smooth setup. It is worth spending $20 more than the older 4 channel SB6121

This modem is great for time warner customers (now spectrum ) also because i have my own wireless router not only am i saving 10$ monthly rental fee for the modem twc spectrum provides but im saving an additional 4.99 fee for wireless because i am using my own wireless router and this modem does not have built in wifi, This pays for itself my internet bill went from 50.00$ a month to 34.99 a month , and i am getting faster service and speed compared to twc spectrums modems , this is a must have if you want to save money!!!
