I have had the cable modem for about 2 months now and it has been working with no problems. I replaced a TWC cable modem and the installation and activation went fine.

Needed to replace my old 2.0 router as it was not working properly. I purchased this new 3.0 router from best buy, hook it up, which was very simple to do, and I could not believe the difference in speed on this new 3.0 router, as it was like night and day compared to my old 2.0 router. I love this new 3.0 router, as the speed is unbelievable. If you need a new router, make sure you buy a new 3.0 router, as you will be very happy with it.

Paired this with a Linksys router works great to deliver my 15 mmps basic Internet to my router to stream movies and tv through out a two story home from the basement.

Saved me $10 on my time warner bill. I've had it over a month with no issues. Great buy.

I did research before purchasing the 6143. I wanted stop renting a modem and get better speeds from my cable provider. Well this did it. I like gaming and this modem has increased my speeds leaving the cable companies provided modem in the dust. Unless your Internet provider can give you speeds over 300mbs this will work just fine for most people needs. For the price this is the best thing you can get.

Woah! My Internet speeds have increased not sure why since the connection should be the same but I guess the new hardware in this modem better digests my cable signal. Spec had only improved by 1 mbps and is very much appreciated. For the record I didn't get a new computer to better handle these speeds. My only annoyance is the bright blue LEDs since it's in my bedroom but they are pretty. To help I cover the modem with a book.

I really like this modem and it is better than the one that Time Warner gives you plus it pays for its self in under a year.

Works great, exactly as described. And it had a easy installation. Totally fool-proof. This is so easy that even people who are not computer or tech savvy can get it installed in minutes. Very reasonable priced and i would consider this because of its speed and quality a big bang for your buck.

If you have Cox Internet & need a reliable modem, look no further. Don't pay the rental fee from Cox for their equipment, spend $50 on this and enjoy!

This router is easy to set up and when connected stays connected. I have been using it for 2 months and it has worked flawlessly. Not one drop out during this period.

The Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 modems are incredible. I have RCN in Washington, DC and the modem that was provided for my 50 Mbps was horrid. It would continually drop signal, have communication issues with my wireless router, and require constant resetting. On top of that I would consistently have to call RCN tech to have them take a look at the bandwidth because it was all over the place. Purchased the SURFboard modem and my connection has been incredible ever since. Solid connection, faster speed even from RCN, great for my ROKU, and various wireless devices. I highly recommend investing in this modem.

TWC stated I needed a new modem to get their new speeds so I ran upstairs and ordered with BB. Drove to the BB by me which told me I was at the wrong BB for my order but not to worry because it happens all the time. Something on the website doesn't explain which store number is closer to me I was told by the assistant. They went and pulled the modem, cancelled the old transaction and completed the new one with them. In and out in under 15 minutes. Got home and unhooked the old modem, installed the new modem, let the modem light up, opened a browser and followed the on-screen instructions and was back on line.

I chose to buy this modem because I wanted to not pay comcast to rent a modem that would be a thorn on my side in the performance and customer service sense. I was a little worried about setting it up cause I needed it to be bridged to work with my current network but it was surprisingly a quick setup and comcast actually helped with the process that only took about 5mins. My Internet speed is fast and the connection is stable.

Much faster than the one the service provider had. Would have gave in 5 stars but it took my provider over 3 hours to get a signal to it. Not sure if there fault or the modem. One way or the other awsome router. Would definitely recommend.

For years i rented cox cable modems. I wish if would of never did that. This modem blows cox cables modems out of the water.
