It's a modem. It does its job well. Only problems with it are those if my provider. I would highly recommend this modem for those who use a cable provider for there I SO.

When using Time Warner modem to hook to wifi router there is a monthly charge, but this one is compatible with Time Warner service and eliminates that charge.

Got rid of cable company modem. On sale for $49, this will pay for itself in 6 months (after sales tax). Speed is excellent on Spectrum.

Cable in my area is charging over $7/month to rent their modem, which by all definition is junk. In one year, this modem will pay for itself, besides that, I took a speed test with the modem offered by TWC and one after setting up this model. I'm now getting the same speeds that TWC offers for Road Runner Turbo. So yeah, I really enjoy the money I'll be saving and the extra speed I'm getting.

A good unit, decent price, fast modem, easy setup, dont see much need for improvement

Replaced rented Comcast modem to save some cash. Once activated on their system it has been stable and has held up speed of 57 Mbps with Blast level service.

A great modem with nice features. I upgraded my modem to this to take advantage of DOCSIS 3.0 features. Installation and set-up was very easy, and including the call to my cable provider (Cox), it only took about 15 minutes for the whole process. My only complaint is that the blue LED lights on the front of the modem are VERY bright. I'll probably end up covering them, as they are pretty distracting.

This had more than enough performance for the level of service my ISP provides so no need to go to a higher cost unit that bonds more channels (not using that even if it were offered by the ISP which it is not). By staying away from the highest performance unit that isn't needed you see a lot more value. Also the payback versus renting from the ISP is well under a year.

I purchased this modem after our Motorola one died. It came at a great price, compact and hasn't needed a reset yet. It's very reliable.

Took 5 min for Comcast to activate. Getting better speed than the contract.

Great product with basically zero frustration setup. Bought for use with Comcast and just provided them the MAC address and it was online in minutes.

I was able to turn in the slow, leased modem from the cable company for this much, much faster modem that I don't have to pay monthly for. Very happy!

One of the easiest modems to set up and connect. Stays connected 10x better than Centurylink modem. I am very pleased with this product

Functions as advertised, happy with purchase. Could have installed myself because it was easy to install but I still used the Geek Squad for assistance.

Bought it, plugged in all the cables, called cable company to authenticate it, worked. This might be the easiest I have gone through in several years. Nicely done.

Bought this to replace the rental modem/router from Comcast. Using it paired with the Netgear R6300 Router. Has been working flawlessly since purchased.
