Easy to setup, great value and works. Overall A+ product

I bought this modem when TWC raised their internet modem rental fee (again). I stopped on the way home at the local TWC store to activate the modem on my account. They scanned in the MAC address from the box label. I got home, hooked it up (only took 10-15 minutes), and internet was working fine. Couldn't have been easier and the modem should pay for itself in less than a year. It's been about a month and there have been no problems at all. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner.

Since Lawrence does not offer speeds above 110 mbps, I purchased this modem that is rated for much more than that. 2 months into having it running and I have had zero issues. Setup is simple plug and play. Excellent purchase as it saves me modem rental which would cost double this modems price in one year.

Bought this because I was fed up with paying monthly for my Comcast bundle. I don't know why I didn't do this from the get go. It blows their router/modem combo out the water. So easy to set up. Just had to call and give mac address id and within minutes was up and running. Pairs well with my netgear ac1750 router. Super fast!

Upgraded my old Motorola Surf to this new one since my provider supports DOCSIS 3.0. Installation was simple and after a quick call to my provider my download speed went from around 2mbps to 50 mbps. Only "issue" I would say are the bright indicator lights but it was a plus for me, now I don't need a night light for my study. lol

Really, I just needed something that worked and was faster than what I had before. This was a pretty good deal and easy to hook up. I have it in a bedroom and the lights were brighter than my old one, so I needed to basically surround it with other stuff to block them. But so far, it has worked well.

Don't bother with the equipment that you rent from the cable company, this modem is very fast and reliable. You have to call and do initial setup with your ISP, but once that's done plug it in and enjoy. Check to make sure your ISP supports this modem though!

Really easy to set up and to get up and running quickly.

This modems very easy to set up and TWC had no trouble setting it up on their end. The speed is good and the size is small and does not take up any room. The lights are a little bright but not unbearable.

Bought another model 6121 Cable company said not compatable even though listed it would work. Upgraded to this model. No issues, works great seems a little faster even though I didn't upgrade my service speed. Easy to install. Had to deal with cable company to activate, but after that it works as inspected or just a little better.

SB6141 is easy set up, fast and reliable, good looking

After really researching I felt this was the best replacement modem I could get for the money. As many others have posted get the white one it comes with the updated firmware. Have read that the older black ones gave people a lot of issues. This one works flawlessly easily the best I have had. Steady consistent download speed, very easy to set up, spent maybe 10 minutes on the line with my Internet provider and it was working. I also feel if my provider upgrades the speed in my area this modem will be more than capable of handling it. Highly recommend this product if your Internet provider supports it.

The Motorola Surfboard Modem, model #SB6141 was very easy to set up with the instructions provided. This modem is replacing an older/slower Motorola Surfboard Modem that is still working after ten years. This modem works very well with the Time Warner cable company and works great for audio and video streaming along with gaming. After making the required connections, just call the cable company with your MAC number, which is on the modem, packaging box, and included paperwork. This modem allows for the four channel download and upload if provided by your cable company. The five indicator lights on the modem allow you to keep tabs on the connection. An ethernet cable is provided for connection to a computer or router. Great modem at a great price.

This appears to be a good modem. It has a good setup webpage that is helpful at times of cable issues to see what is going on without having to be in front of the device. It appears to be giving better bandwidth after upgrading from a DOCSIS 2. Overall happy with the purchase and worth the money to NOT lease from the cable co. I had the previous modem for 5 or so years so got my money's worth before and plan on it with this one too.

After moving into a new home that had Comcast Internet available I decided to purchase my own modem instead of leasing their modem. This modem at the Comcast requirements it was very easy to set up. I currently have the modem and the router sitting on the top ledge of my basement concrete wall. The internet signal from this modem is very quick and very reliable. The modem kept on asking me to sign into the Comcast site to sign up my modem but after I cycle the power on and off it has been nothing but reliable. At times the 10 megabyte speed from Comcast is faster than my 4G LTE from AT&T. I purchased this modem on an open box sale at Best Buy for $55, it was money well spent and I would do it again.

I bought this to replace an old DOCSIS 2.0 modem I have. I settled on this after through searching and research. This is the top of the line modem on the market and the speeds prove it! Fast sustained speeds no hickups downloading YouTube videos like my previous modem, no waiting for things to load. The only flaw of this modem is the status LEDs, they are very bright, lighting up my office at night, which personally is not a big deal but could be if you keep your modem somewhere it could affect you, plus the connection light constantly flashes which is slightly annoying yet personally not a problem. If you are in the market for a cable modem look no further!!!!
