    Had in store appointment with Geek Squad about streamlining my digital world. This Will reduce my overall cost for internet. Easy to install, replaces my separate two components (modem and router) and provides increased speed both in hardwire ethernet and wi fi. Made the decision and my geek squad rep had the products pulled from the store before I could get my computer packed up.

    We needed to reduce what we're paying for cable. By replacing the rented modem/router, it saved a bit of money. However, remember too, that the "smarter" your home has become, it will take a while in getting everything hooked up and "talking" with the new equipment. This modem/router has been stellar so far. It does seem faster than what you get from the cable company.

    This ARRIS - SURFboard AC Dual-band modem Wi-Fi Router is great product and a major improvement over what I was using previously! Speeds have improved and best of all, there's no need to lease one from the provider, I own it! Don't hesitate to buy this one if you're currently looking to replace your old modem / wifi router. Very happy with it and I highly recommend this product!

    I switched over to a cable for internet access recently and I didn't want to rent the cable company's modem for $11 a month. This allows me avoid that expense and is easy to set up. Works like a champ.

    I refuse to "rent" a router from the companies. I always buy my own. So far this one has been great. Only had to reboot it twice in one year and that's probably more to do with the pandemic and everyone online than the actual routers issue. Very happy with it.
