Customers are saying

Customers highly value the SURFboard AC2350's ease of use, performance, and quick setup. Many appreciate its strong WiFi signal and wide range, finding it provides reliable internet access throughout their homes. While some mention the router's larger size, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs this concern. The affordable price point is also frequently cited as a significant advantage.

    Buffering

Not up to par with rated speeds

I tried a few router combos. This specific model seems to be affected by latency issues, I noticed higher ping rates, buffering issues while playing 4K content on a 500Mbps connection. Speed test via Ethernet connection didn’t reach the rated speeds. Even though, this product claims support for 1Gbps plans, my internet 500Mbps was capped by the modem at 485Mbps. I had to opt for a dedicated modem and external router option, which now provides me with 540Mbps over Ethernet, and 450+ over WiFi. This product is good for average users, provides decent Wifi coverage, and good WiFi speeds. For this price tag it’s bit expensive for what it offers. May work well for users with <500 Mbps internet plan.

Easy to set up. No issues getting it registered with Xfinity. Good value - save monthly lease fee on router/modem. Secure with password protected connection. Good range and connection for smart tv, laptops, tablets, wireless printer.

I have owned this a couple of months. It’s worked very well, range is decent but even in a 1300 square ft 2 story house it struggles with it being on one side of the house and getting 5.0 speeds on the other side of the house. Also had to reset it twice in the past week. could be Xfinity who knows. Paying for 150 mb/s and I’m getting 174mb/s with the router/modem

I’ve had this unit for a few months now and it’s working well so far. Had the Netgear 1900 and that kept giving me problems so I returned it and bought this unit. I get about 296mbs. I live in a brick bungalow and the only problem that I find which is on other reviews is the coverage. It seams to get really week about 30ft away.

Fast all-in-on Modem/Router. I could have received one free from the provider but I opted to purchase my own know that after the first 18mnth it will have paid for itself instead of giving the $10-15 to lease the same equipment.

We bought this to replace another brand modem that wouldn’t work with our service. Comcast helped me add it to our account and it has worked flawlessly. Solid internet throughout the house without any boosters or other devices.

I bought this product because I was tired of renting one each month from my cable company. After a simple tech call to the cable company it was up and running. I think it works better than their modem I was paying for.

I was apprehensive about dumping the Xfinity rented device and installing an owned modem/router, but I chose the right one. Install was slick and easy, instructions clear, and support competent and pleasant.

I just upgraded for streaming tv shows and basic internet and it is alot faster. Does not buffer. Only thing when setting up with cable company is to use ethernet to get it set up and then it will go wireless.

Works much better than my modem that was provided by my cable company. It paid for itself in rental fees in just a few months. My only complaint is the app doesn't save passwords so if you use a lot of different passwords as I do, write them down.

The Arris works great and very easy to get started with. If your cable company is compatible with this model, I would recommend it. Get rid of having two devices as well as paying a modem rental fee.

Old router did not give me the speeds I was paying for. Also with WiFi was weak. This combined router/WiFi is giving me consistently faster speeds which I had been paying for and not getting.

Good Router with reasonable price. I bought it just to be the gateway to connect to Comcast and then use 3 x Google WiFi for the wifi mesh/access point for better range. it works great for me that way.

I purchased this combo router/modem for my son's college apartment, where 4 guys live. So far, it's doing what I needed which is to provide reliable and fast internet and cable performance.

Like most ARRIS gear, it's already tested with major cable vendors such as Cox, Comcast and Time-Warner. Basically all I had to do was plug it in, configure the DHCP range (my printers have static IPs) and call Comcast to activate the MAC. In fact, Comcast was by far the longest effort, but I'm not going to complain about their bottom-of-the-barrel tech folks who can't speak English or key in a model number correctly. I'm not going to talk about being hung up on twice by a horrible IP phone system. No, that would be too easy, and let's be honest, everybody knows that a phone call to Comcast is going to produce an ulcer. Fantastic demo/router though.

This solved an office issue that had been lingering around for weeks. This replaced our old modem AND switch with this ONE unit. It has worked flawlessly for almost two months now.
