Works for all my needs with no problems, and the setup was simple.

When my old modem-router finally died, I went to Best Buy for a replacement. A very helpful Sales Associate led me through the good-better-best comparisons, and this seemed to be the clear choice. I was also able to recycle my old router for a 15% discount off the new !

Great Router, does everything i need it to do with Comcast and 5G- simply plug it in, then follow the instructions with the Comcast App (or whatever service you have, specific to the routers as they have multiple carriers they support). strong signal through out the house, no issues connecting the TV. Laptop, Phone, etc.

My Arris router/modem was very easy to install and has worked as advertised. You just need to call your cable provider to authorize. I have a small home (1500 square feet) and it covers it very well. All in all, very pleased with the unit.

It does it's job and works well. Nice to have one equipment that is both a router and modem. Saves space. It was a snap to setup connecting to Comcast internet. Only minor comment. Would like to have a model that is a different style, I.g., smaller, sleeker, stylish model that fits in its environment. It's current style is old fashion. But a very good product

Got this internet modem so I would own rather than rent from my ISP. So far it has been totally great and flawless. Very easy to setup, that was a breeze, one quick call to the ISP to setup my ID in the network. At this point I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a dual band modem for their home use.

The Arris modem / router has exceeded my expectations. I switched from renting to owning my equipment. I have run wifi tests all over my house and it has been great. Every aspect to buying the modem, setting it up, and running it couldn't have gone better. That is especially true since I am a senior citizen and not tech savvy.

Do research and make sure which modem/router is gonna work for your internet. Has both 2.4 and 5 wifi. Just literally was having some buffering with the Xbox on 2.4. Switched it to 5ghz and works flawlessly. The mobile app allows you to shut off devices so your signal can have less traffic. So happy I can save $11 a month.

Needed an upgrade to my more than 10 year old router/wifi. Went with the same brand as my old one (Arris-Surf), but with POWER! No my daughter can watch The Office and my sons play two different video games at the same time! Covers the whole house, even though it isn't centrally located. Very pleased.

So glad I finally broke down and got my own modem. I was paying the cable company to rent on. So when I cut the cable, I also returned their out-of-date modem and got this. Works perfectly and pays for itself. This was the one the cable worker suggested.

Wifi boosted considerably. Easy instalation, McAfee included.
