It is expensive but I really needed a cable modem/router all in one. This model was one of the few choices that meets my requirements. I upgraded from a Netgear modem/router (8x4) that I had owned fro several years and needed more download/upload channels to handle the increased demand from school and work.

This was easy to set up and my download speeds increased.

I have no issues with this thing. I got it in the hopes of either matching or upgrading from the Comcast rental. My internet had stopped working, and even after they replaced my modem it still didn't work. I took matters into my own hands, and bought this. Problem solved. Thanks for nothing Crapcast!

I bought this and was not sure of setting it up I called spectrum and they talked me through everything it was easy and it works great I thought it would increase my speed but it was the same which was ok the only problem was setting all my wifi devices to the new ssid and passwords but that turned out ok also great router

This is a good, solid and fast internet router. The issue we had with the WiFi was resolved with other equipment that I also highly recommend - the Eero WiFi router - but overall internet performance off this router is great. The troubleshooting and log tools are a little unhelpful and could be improved.

Works as advertised and I have no problems installing it at my place totally recommended to anyone needing a wireless router!

Works great so far. My last modem crapped out on me, and this one has been pretty great. I use it for work and watching TV shows. Don't play a lot of games on it but when I do, I don't have any issues with that either.

This is an extremely fast modem. Works great with Xfinity, which is our cable internet/wifi provider. It was easy to install and comes with an app for easy use and installation through my phone. Since it has two channels, it is easy to have a fast connection throughout the house.

Got this new modem to update a 4y/o modem since that one capped at 200mbs, increased our speeds to 400mbs on Spectrum and with NO device yet on network i ran a speed test and it did hit 390+ a couple times. I have since connected all our devices, several and speeds are at a constant 240+.

I wanted to stop paying a rental fee for my router/wifi unit. I was not sure if I could find a unit that would replace it. The sales person said that I would have 14 days to try it out, and if I was not satisfied I could return it. I am extremely satisfy with it.

Setting up the internet was quick and easy. The modem recommends a very good app that allows you to change any and all settings about the modem with ease. Once changes are made, the reboot cycle is only a minute long before your modem is back up and running with any personal changes made. I loved that.

Great quality modem and easy to use. Downloaded the app and making any adjustments needed is a breeze.

With all the hype between a modem and a router, this is a two for one deal ! With it's amazing but yet simple to install and use it comes in handy the download speed is amazing more , just takes the road blocks out of the way and gets you ready !

Love the functionality of it, love the look as well. The only thing I wish was different is the size. It's big and doesn't really fit anywhere we would be able to put it. But it works great so I still recommend it.

Bought this cable modem to replace an older model. It's nice to have the modem and router all in one unit. It reduces a lot of cords and clutter behind my desk. As for fast speed, I see a slight difference but I do need a new desktop computer with faster speed. overall it's ok.

Had modem from Atlantic broadband and our TV would have to buffer at least once an hour. Even with a hardline from the modem to the TV. The wifi would would need to be reset at least twice a day. Picked this up and haven't had any issues since. Devices run faster also.

So far, so good. My Netgear router died after about 2 1/2 years. New router pretty easy to setup. Before you call your cable TV, write down every serial #, model # etc. It makes it easier so that you don't have to try and hunt for the info when you are on the phone. I think it took longer talking with Comcast so that the internet would recognize my computer. Once that was done. All I had to do was add the router to each TV. My husband was snoring when I connected the TV in his room. Never knew I was there. The man sleeps with the remote in his hand. Seriously. So he thought I had fixed the problem in the morning. I said, yes, it works great now, doesn't it? A man without a remote is a terrible thing. Roku was crashing several times a day because of the old router going bad. Haven't had any problems since. My only complaint is that it was a little spendy.

Yes, it is. Replaced a five year old (50 years in computer years) Surfboard modem that still worked fine with my Comcast connection but took its sweet time with downloads, etc. This new unit works like a charm! Fixed the problems I was having and relatively easy to set up. Get one, you’ll be glad you did!
