  • Will not work w/Xfinity Stream Beta App!

    Purchased because I was having connectivity issues with Comcast/Xfinity, and this was on their "approved list" and recommended at store level as one of the "best". Seemed to work, but sure enough as luck as has it..knock on wood - after the 15 day return policy it started to "fail". I use Xfinity Stream Beta App on 2ndary TV through the Roku Stick and on Xfinity Stream Beta App on Samsung TV. This Modem failed to provide the connection to the Xfinity Stream app, in working with Comcast Tech Support to try and resolve the issue - they couldn't even find the Arris Modem on their end, even though they had connected it, reset and connected several times. This was an esclated issue working back and forth for several days. Upon disabling the Modem, and hooking my old Netgear 6300 modem to test the connectivity to the Xfinity App - it worked with no issues, also Xfinitys own Gateway had a very easy connection to the Stream app. So I have a doomed Arris $199.99 Cable Modem of no use.
