Constantly resets and reboots at random. I’ve checked with my provider and no issues with connectivity. Other people have had similar issues.

This is a good item for small houses with open floor plans and lower speed connections. We bought one for a small vacation home and so far it works great. For a larger more spread out home with a high speed connection, it just couldn’t handle it. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Arris after a Comcast technician came out and got everything up to highest performance. This unit simply could not handle it. I got a Netgear modem/router for the same price. Up and running in 30 minutes. There’s just no reason to buy this when you can get a better product for the same price! I wasted an entire day trying to fix a poor piece of equipment!

We purchased this router when our netgear C7000 burned out. We've noticed a significant slowdown in internet speed and the reach is just not there...we've had to add an extender in the house to make it work. Also having significant issues with getting our wireless printer back online. Should have just re-purchased the C7000.

Solid router .. performs well. running intel components. gigabit speeds.

Not bad but for a little more, you can do better...

It may say XFinity.. but its not part of the companies list. They are able to use it.. but if u pay for 1000mbps, you are not gonna get it. It maxs out at 600-700. I had to return it and got a netgear that was on the list. World of difference when you follow the list.

I have Xfinity blast speed internet, I had told the sales associate that I needed a modem with wireless capabilities that would work with my service with phone service. This is what he recommended. This device does not have a way to have phone service, I was mislead. I wasn't aware until I spent a couple of hours trying to activate this. Following all directions, I ended up calling Comcast for assistance. I was told I could not use this with the package I had due to it not having phone capabilities. Ended up having to disconnect phone. I figured this would be a much better device than I had through Comcast. I wish I would have saved myself the trouble. I have up to 150 mbps and I'm getting slower speeds now than I was before. The signal is stronger in some spots of the home and worse in others. Overall, I wish I would have known more about what I was getting. A second opinion or something. Spending hours and close to 200 dollars on this thing was a big waste.

Compatible with Suddenlink Cable. Setup not repeatable, slow on local traffic.

Not easy to install, had to call a computer store close to us to connect it.

Does not stay connected to my exterior wifi-cameras on a 1400 sf house

Excellent modem/router in one I have always owned Arris brand, old one was still working just needed undated to newest technology, the DOCSIS 3.0 is the current one to work with any spectrum cable internet service.

Modem good, but supplied cable was faulty, had to use old cable

Problems holding a Decent wi-fi speed with more than three devices.

This router/modem combo works only ok. I find myself restarting it 2-3 times per week when we notice the internet speeds are sluggish. Only get better speeds for a couple days before it slows again. Doesn’t matter if I’m in the same room as the device or in the bedroom,

Sadly, the router didn’t work out after a number of visits by the Geek Squad. Finally callef my cable provider who sent three techs. Removed this router and am renting the canle provider’s device. Things sre looking good now. If I keep the internet for a fee days after a few whole days I will retun this device for a refund.

The firewall continuously blocks images and videos from loading on popular sites like Facebook, which I use for work. I've tried customer support, and they don't seem to understand the issue. I keep having to enable and disable the firewall, and there's no way to just enter trusted sites into a list that could bypass the settings. Resetting does nothing. The only one who could fix this is Arris with a firewall update, and they're not interested. Prepare for endless frustration.

Slow connection speed, continuously disconnected from the internet. It did not connect well with my Apple router. Did not work well with Xfinity service

Poor performance and activation was a horrible experience. I will return this product no good. Avoid if you have a plan more than 800 mbps if your plan is less give it a try.
