2.4 channel just stopped working

Worked fine out of the box, both 2.4 and 5G would connect, but after a few days the 2.4 channel would stop working and say wrong password. I would reset the router/modem. It would work again after reboot, but then shut off again. Since I missed the return window I’m stuck with only 5G channel working, and my Ring Chime won’t find the 5G, so it’s worthless. Out $200, so mad

Bought this junk to replace my Comcast router, but I regret that..
It keeps disconnecting every 10 minutes or so, made of cheap plastic and very light weight, the WiFi range doesn’t cover three bedroom house.

Barely had this router/modem for a month & all ethernet ports stopped working. Took back to store & was told it didn't work & there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't replace, had to purchase a new one.

Purchased to replace an older router, however it would regularly drop connectivity for wi-fi devices and require rebooting - almost daily. Replaced with Netgear modem and Netgear AC3200 router which have been much more reliable.

Garbage!

This thing is a piece of garbage. Sure the wifi worked great as long as you connected in the same room where the router was located, 450 Mbps+. But just down a hallway in our small house, less than 20 feet from the router we could only get 20 Mbps & wifi kept disconnecting. Don't buy this.

Hate this modem, it tries to do updates all the time while in use. ISP says its not them. Arris says its not them. Cannot set the time to do updates either. Horrible experience. Dont buy it

Not supported by spectrum, even though it is advertised as it is. Bought it, and when I went to set it up, I got told by spectrum it is not a supported modem. Will be returning as it is not useable now

It works intermittently. I was told that this was the best modem.
It was the most expensive but that I did not mind if it worked.
Maybe the problem is the Xfinity service?

Customer support was helpful in getting my modem/router setup and running, however, in less than 12 hours, it shut down never to turn back on again. Returned it and went back to a Netgear Nighthawk.

Do Not Buy This Modem. It has an antiquated chip-set. I’ve had 2 go bad in under 6 months. Best Buy did a wonderful job handling the experience. 5 Stars fir them.
