Great modem for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great modem for the price. This product is definitely worth the purchase if you are paying for wireless internet ... This is much better than paying the cable provider each month to use their modem. The only thing that was a set back with this product was the process of setting it up with customer service through the cable provider. They acted like because it wasn't their modem, we wouldn't be able to use it. However, this is not true --- it is completely compatible with all service providers that were listed on the box.

Nice Modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy it. It was simple to set up as I am no techie. This is my first time owning a Modem versus renting one. It was recommended to me by a gamer and knowledgeable store associate to buy Modem & WiFi Router separate and not as a Combo for better performance. I have had no issues.

No more rent paid to Cable Company
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem was easy to setup and replace my rented, older cable modem. I went with a little more throughput than my Plan allows so I would be ready for the future, if needed. And for the money, it was worth it. Also upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0. I know it is compatible with TWC, but it says it is compatible with all major cable providers like Comcast/Xfinity, Cox, Charter, Time Warner, Mediacom, and Bright House

Great for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up modem that is running my 75 MB/s internet without a stutter. Runs a little hot (warm to the touch) so keep in an area with some circulation.

Good modem, easy set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this modem, getting higher speeds with WOW and it was easy to set up. It's been working good so far. Worth buying instead of renting from WOW

Great modem for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was switching over to a cable internet provider and needed a new modem that would be supported by them. This modem was easy to set up and came with great instructions. My only complaint would be that in order to conserve energy we do shut it off when we aren't using it. It is connected to a router and every time I switch the power back on, I have to unplug the router and then plug it back in otherwise the Internet will not connect. Not sure if that is a router problem or a modem problem. Otherwise, I am super happy with the purchase.

good product, reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this DOCSIS 3.0 modem because Comcast has increased download speed capabilities and my old modem was acting as a choke point. When I installed the modem I direct connected to one of my computers, when I powered it up the install and activation proceedure was simple and fast, took less than 10 minutes overall. After I actuated it with Comcast I then connected it's output to my Router with no problems. Then tested and found my down load speeds had indeed improved significantly on every computer and tablet in the house. I am a happy camper

Effortless set-up and works great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set-up and I have not had ANY issues with it since, well, ever. I don't think I've even looked at it since I set it up. It just works.

Quick setup - worked immediately
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with Comcast (or Xfinity). I was with VZ Fios for a long time. Thought I try and save a little money. This modem works well, I get really good speeds for what Comcast says I should have. Its operation is simple and it just works. My only complaint is the user interface - I think it lacks functionality - I wish I could tweak it more. But for a simple modem, it is great. Comcast, or Xfinity, on the other hand isn't so great - lots of system reboots where I have zero connectivity or TV service - even the DVR doesn't work during those times. And there seem to be a lot of them. I recommend the modem, not the service.

Great Modem.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This modem lived up to the all the reviews. I decided to buy a modem rather than the keep paying the $10 a month to rent one through Comcast. This modem blows the comcast modem out of the water! I was only getting about 30Mbps according to speediest.net with my comcast modem. Now I'm getting over 50Mbps. The modem was fairly simple to install and has a very small foot, half the size of the rented modem. I haven't had any problems thus far, going on about 3 three weeks now. Save yourself some $, and improve your speed. Get this modem!

In, Up, & Running
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy this since paying the cable company to rent one would of cost a bit more in a year than this would of cost. Getting this set up is quick & easy like plug & play. Haven't had a problem with the speed of it & no lagging yet. Ran a speed test on it & was very happy with it. Manual tells you what the lights mean on the front & they are bright enough to see. Good size & weight to it. I did check to see if it is compatible with the cable company (comcast) & it is. I've read a few who said they had problems with this one even if they said it's compatible. No issue with me on this. Comes with all you need to connect. Unless you have to go further away, than you may need to get longer wires. Manufacturer warranty is for a year I believe. So, even if it fails within there. It's still worth the cost of buying it than renting one. I've had Motorola products before & I've really never had a problem with them. They lasted for a very long time!

Quit renting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great modem and it works with my provider, Wowaway. Quick call to customer service, provided mac address, waiting a few minutes and it was up and running. I'm getting up to 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. I have a lot of devices connected at times and the modem handles all of it effortlessly. I'm really pleased with this modem.

Base Model Does What it Should
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DOCSIS 3.0 supports over 30 mb/s downloads, which is all I needed. Replaced the all-in-one gigantic box switch-router-TA-WAP from Arris that my provider tried to lease to me. Since I already have a wireless router, I didn't need that huge ugly box sitting on my network cabinet. This little Arris/Motorola box works fine. It does the least amount of channel bonding in the line, so if you have >100 mb/s from your cable provider, you probably want one that supports more channels than this.

Great Modem - Good Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to upgrade my cable modem to take advantage of the system upgrades Comcast has been making the last few years, so I did my research. This modem shows up on a lot of search results for good modems, and although it shouldn't matter really, it is rated as highly compatible with Comcast (as shown on Comcast's website). Easy to setup, works great, and it has the latest technology to take advantage of what Comcast (and other Internet providers) have to offer, hard to go wrong.

Fantastic modem for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a bit hesitant at first to buy the product, as the natural wonder arises of why it's the lowest-priced if it is in fact a quality product. Perhaps there are better modems, but this one is well worth the price given its speed and performance. The alternative was leasing a modem through Comcast - $10 x 24 months ($240) or $75 for one-time purchase. Sometimes cheap is expensive, but in this case the decision turned out to be a no-brainer and well worth the up-front investment.
