Love the modem. Read the other reviews as the one about using the blue arris app worked for our setup perfectly as well rather than the one the instructions led me to. Super easy to setup after seeing that review. Love the features and the savings versus having my son rent a modem.

A little confusing to set up: takes a LONG time to get Comcast up and running; don't know if that's CC or Arris, never had CC before. Also, have to reboot about once a week, again, don't know if that's the device or CC. That said, pushes the signal throughout the entire 1200SqFt one-story home no problem. Works for me.

Xfinity approved dual modem router combo. Super fast, easy setup and compact. Gets the best speed from comcast right out of the box.

The range whether 2.4 or 5, not too strong. Took awhile for the speeds to finally get up to performance. The WiFi speeds are ultra fast though with speedtest.net, speakeasy.net testing. 4 lan connections in the back are just what I need. Guest connection lets everyone Else connect without compromising my secure connections

I got this router to use with Mediacom cable TV. Easy to set up, and having 2 wifi channels is great. Works well with all my my wifi enabled gadgets.

The Arris 3.1 Surboard cable modem & router was easy to setup, and I’m not very tech savvy. I connected it with Astound Internet, although not listed on box it’s compatible with anyone who has Astound. Just need to call them when you have it setup, they’ll connect you to their internet.

I am with Sparklight internet, and this Arris was one of the few Modems that was acceptable to the company. It was EZ to set up after calling Sparklight to make the change from Sparklight Modem to another. So far since I just completed the exchange, Iam well pleased with the way my new Modem is performing. Iam looking forward for years of service?

Very straightforward and easy to set up. Has performed exactly as expected, with a strong, reliable signal throughout my 2-bed apartment. I chose this model because it's one of the few all-in-ones that is certified to work with my small, local ISP.

I got this to replaced my 2 yr old Arris modem that can only accommodate 700+Mbps. I've upgraded to Xfinity gigabit plan. The only reason I gave only 4 stars because occasionally this modem Arris surfboard DOCSIS 3.1 got disconnected loses its ability to receive signal from the source for few minutes. Overall it's capable delivering closed to the speed I'm paying from the provider.

The closest i have gotten in cable modem routers to the gig speed i have paid for. No real drops but definitely fluctuates for gaming in speed day by day one day for example it can be full gig or close to it then next day can be super low speed. But overall an actual good router again compared to the other 4 i had before

This device was pretty simple to hook up. The price was in the same category as all the others. Still working fast with 16 devices hooked up to it.

Fabulous. Makes my phones and computers scream! Extremely fast - plus much greater Spectrum range of coverage. Best I have ever owned.,
