Arris Gig Modem Router

Called Arris was told to restore/reset to Factory Spec. After the RestoreReset to Factory Spec locked in great. Also had to upgrade to Gig Ethernet Card. Speeds are now in the ballpark of what COX promised for a Gig Modem/Router.

Had to take the modem into the Xfinity store for correct setup. Very easy user setup once it was running online.

Good replacement for optimum modem

OK but expensive

While it does work, for the price it could have more/better features. The good: * It's fast * It supports IPV6 * It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi and can do channel steering to 5GHz The bad: * It has no real-time bandwidth monitoring * The logging is basically useless (i.e. intermittently we get an unlocked channel but no indication of why) * It takes 5 minutes or more to reboot

Does the same as my old modem

It took maybe 5 minutes to install and update and change ID plus password.

Best Cable Modem on the market

I haven't had ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL. And I also get 5G network via wifi and my Samsung Ultra 20 5G phone loves it. Everything in my house r is connected and gets a STRONG and FAST signal. I recommend this purchase for anyone.

Truvista compatible
