Great purchase needed Cox help to set up but after 3 hours they found it. It works great!

We purchased this to cut the cable from our cable company. We still need internet for streaming and this saves the rental fee. Purchased in February it is now June and it works great! We are saving money.

This unit was easy to set up and worth every penny. I could have rented the providers modem for life and pay 10 times what this one cost. Stop paying for the one that comes with your internet service, this unit does the same thing and you own it.

Seems to work from a good distance. We have it located off the garage about 50feet from our bedroom and I have good service in there

We were renting a modem from our internet provider and for the price of seven or eight months we could purchase our own and save money.

I am, and especially my female partner are very happy with the Arris. She is sooo happy that she can be on internet for hours, playing her slotomania and doesn't lose the connection. Even on the second floor I can enjoy being on my desktop.

Decided to upgrade to a modem with wifi, instead of the separate modem and router I had been used to. This particular modem/router looked like just the thing to improve speeds and allow plenty of room for future improvements. WRONG. Almost immediately, I noticed that connectivity was poor, even with the 5 GHz band. Download speeds varied wildly, from 120 Mbps to 4.95 Mbps to no connection at all. Transmission speeds between the router and my devices was more consistent (above 250 Mbps), but still varied by as much as 100 Mbps—when I used the Arris mobile app to test the modem's speed and viewed it as a graph, it looked like a 3-year average for a stock market index. NOT GOOD. After 4 hours, I finally went back to my old modem and router, and things went back to normal. Avoid at all costs.

Once operational, it is very fast. If you have Xfinity, it will be a pain to setup. I had to call back and forth between Xfinity and Arris for my MAC address not working when trying to setup the equipment.

Easy to set up and use, wish they would last longer. Last one I bought only lasted 2 years hope this one is better. Seems to work well , no issues yet.

A good product. Not very difficult to link it up to my computer. I know ARRIS is a good brand.

Working good so far so far worth every penny way better than the Netgear CEX 30 I believe that cost just about the same but perform way worse good job Arris outstanding so far no drop connections fast and accurate

The main reason I purchased this was to save $$ on the rental fee Xfinity charges. I’m not a tech savvy person, but I can follow instructions and get things working properly. This item proved to be more challenging than I anticipated. Between going back and forth between Xfinity and Arris each of them blaming the other I finally managed to get it connected. I’ve had this product for almost a year and have been satisfied with the product. I have few connectivity issues in a back bedroom, but it’s not enough to bother me.
