All 4 PCs hard-wired, getting more than the subscribed speed. Same with wifi connected gadgets. I have 6, phones and tablets and laptops. No slow speed issues.

Arris SURFboard

I haven't had any issues with modem. It was pretty straight forward to setup the password and not having to rent a modem from Comcast is a bonus.
