It's allowing our household to telework (2 adults, one doing VoIP), as well as two kids to homeschool and video conference in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Upgraded a month or two ago to this and it has been working well. Wifi is more consistent throughout the home. Was a little tricky to find where to updagred for own equipment via the Xfinity app but once located that it was easy peasy.

The Arris very easy to install. Happy with it, enabled me to get rid of extra pc of equipment.

ARRIS Surfboard SB8300

It seems that the connections are not as strong as my netgear router. I had to buy an extenter in order for the signal to reach though out my home.

It was well worth the money. Works well with Comcast/Xfinity. I’m not into renting equipment so paying a little extra for a quality Modem & Dual-Band WiFi Router that will last is worth a lot more to me. The Customerservice with Best Buy and Arris were excellent when setting everything up. When time to replace, I’m very likely to purchase the same brand, as long as this keeps working as well as it has so far.
