Easy to hookup and set up out of the box. I have two TV's, 3 computers, phones and tablets running thru this router/modem. This one handles all of it without problems.

Buy this for Gigabit Ethernet

If you upgraded your internet to gigabit speeds and don't rent a modem from your ISP, then you need to buy this. DOCSIS 3.1 taps into the gigabit speeds. To me I just don't know why people rent their modems, but to each their own. The wireless management has the same interface as all the Xfinity routers, so you will be familiar with the basics of the routing. Speeds Xbox - Direct Connect - 1000Mbps Macbook - Wireless - 278Mbps (acceptable given wireless noise)
