Expensive but solid

I purchased this product and it is a solid as my last surfboard. The only negative is that it is very expensive and you could probably find the same quality in another brand for cheaper. However, it was easy to set up and I knew the quality of this company's products.

Don't use with Xfinity

Now I need to reboot it about twice a day, and this takes about 5 minutes each time, not very good if you are in a WEBEX meeting or streaming TV. There are many complaints about this online. The firmware needs to be upgraded, but Arris claims that only the cable company can do this. Xfinity will do nothing for modems not rented from them. In the end I am left with an expensive outdated modem because no one will update the firmware and Arris refuses to provide the updates and allow you to install them yourself. Hopefully it works better with other providers.
