Blinding wifi speed!

I restart it maybe once every week, but i think it’s the xfinity service that kinda stops working. Besides that, it seems to be nice and solid. My only real complaint is that it’s not cheap.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Either Arris cable modems are defective too often or I have the worse luck with this brand. Although, I haven't had any issues with wired connections to the modem ports, however, both radios, the 2.4Ghz and 5Ggz, were defective (or extremely glitchy.) Sometimes only one radio would broadcast; other times both radios would broadcast, but it would I could only connect to one; and sometimes only one of the two radios would broadcast, but I would constantly connect and disconnect non-stop. I had to power cycle the unit MULTIPLE times, and when I was finally able to broadcast and connect to both radios, I would pray there wasn't any power outages...well, Florida weather (especially severe weather) is full of, you guessed it, power outages. For a week straight I lost my cameras, or my thermostat, or my google home...depending which radio glitched. Now, I purchased this unit for a client to whom I recommend it because I had an older version of the same cable modem. The irony is that the unit I purchased a few years back DID have a similar issue, although, the 5Ghz radio NEVER worked. The reason I didn't mind (or actually realized) was because four years ago, or so, most devices were not 5Ghz compatible. I was so satisfied with the 2.4Ghz connectivity, I would have even gave it 5 stars; hence the recommendation to my client. Thankfully, my client didn't mind too much spending more money to setup a separate wi-fi router for their house. I will not buy this brand ever again.
