Good modem/wi-fi router

So far so good reliable and consistent. It was easy to install and to pair with the cable company. I do notice that I lose a little bit of bandwidth but nothing significant.

Great if 5ghz is what you need.

Im not sure why, but the 2.4 ghz becomes unavailable often, which sucks since I need it for certain smart devices. Hoping this isn't the case all the time. The higher speed, 5 ghz, works perfectly fine with litte to no issues.

There’s better out there

Access to admin functions are difficult and control of SSIDs is even more difficult. As you can never get rid of default SSIDs with the default passwords. That’s a hackers dream. Since I can’t secure my network I don’t use it. It will likely end up as a pass thru WiFi extender the next time I get bored.
