Does what it is supposed to do. I got tired of renting equipment from Xfinity and bought my own modem/router. To be honest it runs better than the supplied one from Comcast. Set-up could have been done easier, but I really think Xfinity throw curve balls to dissuade you from going this route.

Works GREAT! Xfinty started to charge for the cable modem so i decide to get my own. Really glad this one handles all the streaming shows and working from home.

ARRIS - SurFboard - YES!!! A big improvement over my previous NightHawk. NO stupid hour-glass spinning with connection delays...!!!

I found that getting this modem installed and completing the setup was very easy to do! That is great!!

The service tech had not issues and everything seems to be running. Every once and a while I get a message that connection is low but, it never shuts down.

Not as powerful as I expected. We have an 1820 ft 2 home with open areas or windows to all portions of the home expected to be covered. The unit was placed in the largest room of the house as central in the home as practicable. Coverage was poor to moderate (not adequate for tv streaming) in any room other than the one the unit is installed.

it works good, no problems so far. the lights work as intended, but can be quit bright at night if an ethernet cable is connected.

I purchased another brand and had continued problems even though it was just as expensive. So glad this one has paid off.

Our internet connection has never been this solid!! With all the devices always connected to the internet, the whole family is very happy!!

The Arris brand modem/router works well and are the best.

DO NOT BUY!!! I paid $250 for this product and have been very disappointed. I’ve had for 30 days and in the first 3 weeks I’ve lost my wifi connection at least 3 times that I’m aware of because of randomly dropped. I called the support team to help get the issue resolved. The person who helped me the 2nd time was very helpful and understanding. He helped me log in and change some setting to try and impress speeds and connectivity. After we were done my wifi wouldn’t stay on longer than 5 minutes at a time. I called back and talked to 2 different people asking to use my warranty that I KNOW I HAVE (I verified it before calling again). They both told me that I need to have a technician come out and look at my router and that I’m not able to use the warranty cause it’s just the wifi dropping. (I live at an apartment complex. I called the internet company that they use, and was told “we don’t have anyone that can come out and look at it, and at that we’re not allowed to touch routers since they are not provided from us”. I now have no wifi connection and can’t return it. Don’t buy it. And if you need more proof. The app they use is called “SURFboard Central”. Hope this helps!

I purchased this product after much research on cable modems. I wanted to get rid of the monthly Comcast fee. I am very pleased with the easy installation and this modems performance. I recommend to anyone looking for a change.

It took some time to install it but it’s seems to be working. So far no problems. The app that they recommend to manage the modem is useless. The costumer service is horrible.

Great modem and router bad app. This was easy to set up but the app for the router doesn’t work well. Other than that I enjoy it.

Good range, strong signal, and easy to set up. App is easy to use.

Seems to work. I have internet. Sometimes there are spots in the house that struggle with connection but its a good size house.

Works well most of the time-not sure if my internet drops because of the provider or the product-I have to reset at least once a week.
