I bought the ARRIS SURFboard to replace an older Motorola/Belkin modem/Wi-Fi set-up and couldn't be happier. Set-up was as easy as plugging it in and placing 1 call to my service provider. Within minutes I was up and running with a noticeable improvement on speed and performance. My old modem suffered from reduced speeds and link drops...those problems are gone now!

We upgraded to 1 GB internet speeds for digital learning for the kids and work from home for the adults and we were having trouble getting the advertised speeds from our previous modem and router, so we upgraded to this and it has been great. No cons to mention, very easy set up, and the internet speed is better than expected.

Overall great strong signal, but likes to drop randomly particularly at night. Never had that issue with my Netgear device but this supports my providers 1gbps speed. Better user interface through app to manage all devices connected to filter broadband usage.

If you're not in the market for setting up a complex modem and router system, this combination device is for you. Hook up was easy; just unplug the old device and plug in the new one. Contact your cable provider to have them finish the setup process and you will be on your way. Very stable speed delivery and the wifi is great. Good value.

We needed something so we could stop giving more money to Comcast to rent their own devices, and this did the trick. Nothing fancy, it just works. It's thin enough, and the promotion on the price was even better. We've had no issues since early March.

The only reason iam giving it four Stars is because the box speed rating may not be the same with different service providers.i had a Cox representative tell me that even though I had 3.1 modem and it says cox compatible on the box that I might not be receiving full capacity with there service if iam not using there supplied modem router that they rent .but I purchased it to save money still great modem works great 400 down loads speeds work s for me.....

3 years and little to no problems. I would buy it again. Or the brand equivalent. Speed is good for me

Purchased as an upgrade for my internet upgrade easy to set up not complicated seem's to handle the 1 gig service i have pretty well threw my cable service

I bought this because my previous dual band wifi router didn't have enough download speeds required for what I use it for. I bought this and it was easy to set up w/ Spectrum and download speeds great for cameras and streaming for other devices without any lag. It was a bit pricey but it was worth it.

You cant even hear it running!! I have never had such a quiet modem.....wait. Ok, seriously, it has great range, handles the internet just fine. Setup was a breeze. I keep forgetting that its there. I like all the channels it has. One main, one submain, and two for guests. I hope to have this a long while.

Replaced previous cable modem/wifi router to keep up with technology, do not want to rent equipment. The recommended device was significantly more, only difference I found was in the number of devices that could connect. I have 12 devices connected & up to 14 including TV wo issue. You must follow instructions to register the device with your isp, if not will have an issue with connections dropping.

Excellent piece of equipment. Xfinity router kept dropping the signal and had a difficult time staying connect to the upstairs extender so I researched several possible replacements and chose this. I've had the SURFboard for a few months now and it is working great! Easily handles the trafffic of two teens streaming and gaming as well as streaming service for our television watching and the demands of my wife's home based business. Highly recommended as an affordable and superior alternative to renting from the cable companies.

I needed a new router for 600 mbs wireless in the house. After reviewing all the possibilities, I selected ARRIS again. The previous Arris router would not go above 300 mbs, but had worked perfectly well. This company really understands quality, speed and the ease of use with the app.
