    did not work with spectrum, do not buy if you use spectrum. i tried getting this to save some money on having to rent a modem/router from spectrum but it just straight up didnt work. shen i returned it, the person at best buy told me it happened quite frequently with spectrum customers

    Got this to replace my existing Xfinity cable modem/router so I could drop the monthly rental charge. The speed is great....when it works. Wi-Fi seems to randomly drop everyother day. Devices that are plugged in to the RJ-45 ethernet jacks stay connected but all of the wireless connections lose internet. To bring wi-fi back up you have to literally reset the device by pushing a pin into the back reset hole. I've fussed and fussed with it and the return period was only thirty days so I'm stuck with it and its a $250 piece of equipment!

    Perhaps my setup but the 5G signal is only good in a small range and the non-5G is weak in the corners of my house. Was hoping to avoid multiple devices but I had to invest more to get full coverage for work from home requirements.
